PICKWICK DAM, Tenn. — Crossroads area residents will have two firework show options when the sun sets tonight. Pickwick Lake will act as the ultimate backdrop for one of the biggest Fourth of July firework shows in several states as Pickwick Landing State Park plays host to its annual show. Another huge crowd is expected this year when the show begins sometime between 8:30 and 9 p.m., depending on the darkness. The Pink Sapphiret’z are looking to land the big one. The group is throwing its line out there with “Let’s Go Fishin” in order to raise money for its annual community service projects. “Let’s Go Fishin” will be held Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Studio Pink on 716 South Tate Street. “All of the girls will be serving and people can dine-in or get a plate to go,” said Leola King, director of the young girls dance studio.
