Iuka pair face charge of burglary (The following story was compiled by Independent Appeal Assistant Editor Steve Beavers.) RAMER — Two Iuka, Miss. individuals have been arrested for the break-in of the Ramer Quick Stop. Twenty-five-year-old Kelly Luttrell of Iuka and 37-year-old Jesse Green of Iuka were arrested Monday by the McNairy County Sheriff’s Department. The store’s audible alarm was tripped around 1 a.m. When deputies arrived they discovered the front door glass had been broken out, according to Sgt. Zach Bay. Around 200 packs of cigarettes were taken from the convenience store at 4453 Highway 57 West, according to the owner. A search of the area found Luttrell walking down a road not far from the break-in. “She was walking down Mount Vernon Road and had several packs of the cigarettes in a pillow case she was carrying,” said Bay. Sgt. Danny Pinson arrested Luttrell. She is charged with burglary, vandalism, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II.
