More than 350 high school seniors will graduate in Alcorn County within the next month. Although Corinth High School graduation has been moved to mid-June, the three county schools will hold their commencement ceremonies in two weeks. No more than 225 seniors will walk in the Alcorn School District. Superintendent Larry B. Mitchell said he was very proud of their many accomplishments. “The teachers and administration of the Alcorn School District wish each graduate well in the future,” he said. “These are talented individuals and we anticipate great achievements in their upcoming endeavors.” Biggersville High School kicks off the Alcorn County graduation schedule at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 22 inside the BHS gymnasium. Alcorn Central High School’s ceremony will also be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 25 at the Crossroads Arena. Kossuth High School rounds out the week with their ceremony set for 7 p.m. on Friday, May 26 at the Crossroads Arena. Corinth will see no more than 128 seniors walk at their commencement at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 16 at the Crossroads Arena. “Graduation is a rewarding experience for our high school seniors and their parents as we

A new story will appear each Sunday in the Daily Corinthian.) Living Free Ministries will celebrate their 13th anniversary next week. Dedicated to helping people with life controlling issues find freedom, healing and deliverance in Jesus Christ, the Corinth-based non-residential faith-based addiction recovery program will host a special reunion at 6 p.m. on Thursday. “We are so happy to celebrate 13 years in the community we love,” said founder Tommy Wilson. “Living Free has helped thousands of people overcome addictions and we want to give back a little with this reunion.” Wilson is inviting everyone who has been involved with Living Free to the reunion which includes a full meal prepared by longtime Living Free supporter Ben Betts. “If Living Free has touched or impacted you, your family, your church or community, we want you to be involved and join us on this special night,” said the founder. “The community has been a big part of Living Free.” Many lives have been touched by Living Free, according to
