AG, MDOT budgets fail in last seconds BY ZACK STEEN zsteen@dailycorinthian.com
Mississippi lawmakers ended their regular session last week, but will have to return later to pass budgets for the attorney general’s office and the Department of Transportation. “We will be back soon,” said Rep. Nick Bain (D-Alcorn). “Both the budget for the AG and MDOT failed in the last few seconds of the session.” Bain said it was a unanimous vote among House members against the transportation bud-

Patrick, who has been a member of TOPS since she joined the club in Aberdeen, along with her husband, Paul, related that her weight loss journey was a long one. She joined over 12 years ago because she was told by her doctor she needed to lose weight if she wanted to have children. “You know how it is when you start a diet. You go in full force ... then you get to the stage where you just quit trying,” said Patrick. TOPS President Barbara Cady con-
