In recognition of an honorable past, a dedicated present and an impactful future, the Easom Foundation will resume its Community Fellowship Dinners on Super Bowl Sunday following their break after December for the holiday season. Scheduled to be held from noon until 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 7 at the Easom Community Center, the pre-Super Bowl meal will feature Chef Ben Betts’ famous chicken and dressing, fried or baked baked chicken, meatloaf, green beans, cabbage, creamed potatoes, yeast rolls, chess squares, peach cobbler, iced tea and water. The advance ticket price is $10 for adults and all carryouts and $5 for children under 9 who dine in. “We encourage everyone in the community to dine-in with their family and friends or get a meal to go before they begin their Super Bowl watch parties,” said Easom Outreach Foundation Chairman Samuel Crayton. “We are looking forward to this time of food and fellowship and hope to see everyone there.”
