Q:HOW DID YOU GET STARTED IN FASHION AND BLOGGING? A: I woke up one morning, pulled out a notebook and started brainstorming ideas. I always write down ideas, that way you don’t forget them later. Q:HOW DO YOU FIND THE INSPIRATION TO STAY FOCUSED AND CREATIVE? A: I find inspiration everywhere! I’m constantly looking at what’s new for brands, what people are wearing, and what would work with my individual style. I also pull old pieces out of my closet to go with the new. Q: WHAT BEAUTY PRODUCTS CAN YOU NOT LIVE WITHOUT? A:I can't live with out my Kopari Lip Glossy. It goes with me everywhere. Q: WHAT IS YOUR BEST ADVICE FOR SOMEONE STARTING A FASHION INSTAGRAM AND BLOG? 1A: Be true to yourself and your brand. Also, set realistic goals. It’s a lot of work and you have to be wiling to put in a lot of effort.
Q: HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR PAGE STANDOUT FROM OTHERS? A: I try to stay within a certain color scheme when I edit my photos. I also incorporate my daughter into some of my photos for mommy-and-me style inspiration. Q: WHAT IS SOME GOOD ADVICE FOR TRANSITIONING YOUR WINTER WARDROBE INTO SPRING? A:Take winter items like sweaters and jackets and pair them with skirts and dresses.
Q: WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE BRANDS? A:Free People, Abercrombie, Madewell.
Q: DESCRIBE YOUR STYLE IN THREE WORDS. A:Casual, affordable, everyday. Q: WHAT ARE SOME KEY COMPONENTS TO A GOOD FLATLAY? A:Experiment with the empty space. I always pick out my key pieces and then add a bunch of little things to play with the extra space around them. WWW.SOCIALMEDIAMARKETING.COM

How To Have A Stylish Start To 2019 By Kimberley Sara @the_style_side “New year, new you” –we all love the clean slate and fresh start that the new year brings. There is something liberating about the chance to start anew and never is the opportunity to reinvent ourselves to be ripe for the taking than when the clocks strike midnight and the calendars are changed. Our clothing speaks volumes about us as individuals –what we chose to wear tells a story about our interests, our passions, our social circles, the music we like, the movies we watch and the world we exist within. Accepting, acknowledging and enjoying the meaning behind our clothing, or style, opens up the doors to selfexpression. With this awareness, fashion becomes an experimental and interesting game we play each and every day rather than a daunting and scary identity challenge. Try these three tips to have a stylish start to the New Year, no fear in sight...
Out With The Old Hoarding clothes may seem like a clever way to beat the revolving door of trends which come and go so regularly it is impossible to keep up, but by hanging onto items “just in case they make a comeback,” you are actually holding onto the past and a version of yourself which you once were. Make no mistake, this is not an encouragement to waste and throw out an entire wardrobe, but rather to creatively move away from the things of the past. Sell your old items at a market, on Ebay, or gift to a friend. The question to ask yourself is “have I worn this in the last 12 months?” If not, it may be time to move on.
Find A Muse Every artist has a muse and it makes sense to employ this way of thinking to the way you dress and selfexpress. Identify a figure, whether public, famous or someone you know, who inspires you with their style. Art, and of course style, is simply refined and redefined repetition. Borrowing ideas, gaining inspiration and witnessing the full flavour of fashion on another living being is A-Ok when it comes to honing your own style. In fact, it is more than A-OK, it is essential to discovering what you do and do not like. People watch, stalk Instagram, read magazines, watch movies, whatever or whoever inspires you, investigate it further. Finding a muse will help guide you towards your own style like nothing else will.
Be A Little Crazy The 1st day of the 1st month of the New Year can offer us a dose of can-do confidence quite like nothing else can. Listing goals and New Year’s resolutions provides us with a kick start of energy and this can be harnessed to help us with our style. Use this burst of energy and resolve to push the boundaries with your style. Grab something out of your wardrobe which you love but are too afraid to wear. Commit to wearing this item in the first 7 days of the New Year, or go all out and commit to doing this with a different item each day up until the 7th. You might find yourself amazed with the confidence you gain by being a little daring and pushing yourself out your comfort zone.

A Peek Into The Shoe Trends Of 2019 By Erin Regan @convenientlyfabulous A new year means new trends. New food trends, new music trends, and our favorite, new fashion trends. There are so many possibilities of different styles, but let’s start by looking at some of the shoe trends we will be seeing in 2019.
Clear We have seen the transparent trend start with accessories lately, but now we are even getting into seethrough footwear. Some fashion-forward celebs have already been spotted wearing them, and we saw some being models at the Spring 2019 shows, including Chanel. These style of shoes are now available at all prices points from Amazon to ASOS.
Neon We talked about it last month, but as a refresher, neon is back and better than ever. And we aren’t just talking clothes. Neon shoes can be seen in all shapes and sizes this year. From sneakers to heels to boots, the shoe racks will be popping with color. These bright shoes will be great for transitioning from spring to summer, and we cannot wait to see all of the looks to come with some fluorescent footwear.
Fringe Boho is back, but with a new modern twist. To pair with that look, fringe shoes are back, and not just with boots. We will be seeing a lot of sandals on the market this year with fringe detailing. We recently saw that Longchamp released a pair of knee-high fringe gladiator sandals. Pair those with a cute flowy white dress, and you have a perfect boho look set for the spring already.
Square Toe One of the shoe trends that comes and goes through the revolving door of a fashion a lot is the square toe shoe, and 2019 is happy to welcome this trend back to our closets. We have seen celebs like the Hadid sisters and Kendall Jenner all sporting this style recently. This season we are seeing a lot of square toe boots, heels, and mules. We are especially loving this look with thigh high boots! They are super chic, but also classic with this toe style.
