Tecate Pal Norte 2023
March 2023 Monterrey, N.L.

At the 11th edition of the Tecate Pal Norte music festival in the city of Monterrey, I made a design proposal for the official store of the event, which would harbor service providers doing merchandise selling and potential buyers.
Also, we had to take in count to make it a visually attractive space, landmark and photo opportunity.
All of the design, production and assembly process were supervised and supported by the team of Roma 212 Creative House.
The store is commonly located in a green area space with a ramp of over 1 meter. Is because of this that we use a scaffolding system as main structure for creating the facade which, altogether with a tent of approximately 20 x 20 meters, they offer a complete structure, roofed and stable to cover according to the taste of the designer.
This edition we particularly chose to use fabric as our main cover material and along with white neonflex figures, besides painting black the scaffold, we created a better view.
The lion can be taken as the emblem of this festival, and being such an important icon, it has been present for years as main figure of the Tecate Pal Norte’s Official Store. That is the reason why in this edition we took its visual and graphic identity as a base to create an adequate companionship which would highlight its features and would allow us to have a functional space as much as a visually attractive one.
We also developed a new package of display furniture, hoping that it could take part on the immersive experience of what it was the visual identity of the store, and that it could still be in use for the years to come.
Base materials such as MDF were used as the main cover, metal grid being a complement, and all of this over a RHS general structure. Besides, the furniture was presented on the festival allusive colors, which would be changing over time according to the event.
These shelves would provide the option of having a multipurpose space to put notebooks, thermos, cups, agendas and other items.
The cap totem with its accessories would allow a complete display of the variety of existing products.
The center display would be a visual guide that would orient the buyer to the desired section, depending on the product they would have been looking for.
And the rack of shirts leaves a frontal space for the exhibition of garments that you could find on the corresponding rack, using the metal grid as another hanging space.
That’s me

Along with a senior designer, and being a part of Roma 212 Creative House team, the design of the Official Store of the Tecate Pal Norte 2022 festival was carried out, with special emphasis on the adaptation to the look and feel of the event of the coverings and furniture.
This project was designed and successfully executed, being the main character in most of the photos of the festival attendees
We took special emphasis in glorifying the lions of the past years, due to the event being held within the framework of the tenth edition of the festival.
Furthermore, the lion has always been the emblem of Tecate Pal Norte, and particularly the one always present at the Official Store, has always been used at most of the attendees pictures.
The coverings are printed canvas over a RHS frame, assembled over a scaffold which was painted gold. Behind this canvas of lions, we used neonflex figures over a covering of black mesh, and the figures colors were chosen according to the each of the lions canvas colors
All of this planned looking for creating a space that met the festival standards, took the attention of the public and created memories that stayed within the minds of the festival attendees.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the local company DEACERO, we took part on a massive event that lasted 8 days called DEACEROVERSO.
There you could experience the fabrication of steel from its beginning as a raw material to its importance in our daily life, and to learn more about the company that makes all this possible.
At Roma 212 Creative House, I was entrusted with the design of the conference area for the event.
The challenge that this project represented, being an event with only few preceding, meant a watershed to DEACERO, who are already planning on replicating this event in other parts of the country.
At the conference area, the stage was the central piece, and as such, it should be designed to harmonize aesthetically and visually with the rest of the areas.
It was required that we used the materials of the company, such as W Beams, steel angles, electro-welded chain, among others. All of this to create an immersive experience to all the visitors
Nonetheless, the conference area also included the design of a specific distribution configuration where we could welcome around 140 people.
For the Beyond Wonderland 2022 festival to be held in Monterrey, we were part of the team that designed the festival's visual-spatial identity.
This event is particularly filled with references from the story of Alice in Wonderland and that is what we tried to capture
At Roma 212 Creative House, the VIP Area within the festival was assigned to me to produce and assemble.
Using a previously existing structure, it was designed the landmark that will give access to the users of the VIP area. At the top, it was added a wood frame covered with printed canvas, in order to simulate the card that would visually close the structure.
The main challenge was to keep the structure stable given that being completely covered by canvas, it will present some strong wind resistance that could easily move or even make the structure fall, if it wasn’t properly anchored. Therefore, we thought of the next shown solution using 1000 liters water containers, and fastening straps with tensioner.
Besides the access landmark, the complete distribution of the zone was designed. This included rest areas and particular activations.
We proposed the use of bean bag chairs using different colors to go with the theme and to use previously existing furniture. Also, Umbrellas were ordered to be made with the logo of the area's sponsoring brand, as part of a shaded area that would allow the user to rest or eat while watching the concert.
In addition to that, we incorporated 4 posts with light directed by means of LED cannons, and colors that reflected the visual identity of the festival, and this way, putting additional and functional decoration
Inside the music festival Tecate Live Out, Ibis as a brand was assigned to Roma 212 Creative House to design the stand that they will present at this event.
Ibis is an international hotel chain that was seeking to be related to music through a formula that has already been successful in other countries, however this was its first approach to festivals in Mexico.
This two story stand was designed by me under the guide and mentorship of my supervisors, who entrusted me to also produce and assemble it.
The Ibis stand has an area of 10 x 10 meters on the floor and a front composed of a truss frame that reaches 7 meters, crowned by a luminous sign with the brand logo.
The second-floor structure was elaborated with scaffold, and was covered with wood frames coated with printed canvas, which together with details in neonflex and more luminous signs, created a user experience that will allow them to rest, to take pictures, to drink their courtesy drink offered by the brand, all of this within this space that will remain in their minds.
