My name is Ana Cecilia Vargas
I’m an architect with 4 years of experience and I design for the most important music festivals in Mexico.

For the most exclusive area of the Dale Mixx 2024 festival, an arch was required to create a clear separation between areas while maintaining the festival’s overall look and feel.
This resulted in an arch formed by three scaffolding towers, covered with MDF panels wrapped in vinyl and accented with neonflex details

For the press conference area, we designed the Press Stage and Meet and Greet spaces
The stage went through a conceptualization process that reflected the event’s graphic identity. We opted for simulating the speakers of the poster, requiring the creation of two panels that could be reused for the future

With a total of eight stages, this festival is known for showcasing a variety of musical styles to suit all tastes. In line with this, the Acoustic Stage has consistently maintained a jungle-inspired graphic style in its posters and lineups over the years.
This was achieved by incorporating sculptural leaf-shaped figures and warm lighting, creating one of the most visited stages in this edition

To further enhance the festival’s graphic identity and decorate the pathway leading to the stages, we designed over 20 flags featuring quotes from various artists performing at the festival.
Additionally, complementary benches were designed to conceal the counterweights needed to install each flag pole, all of this with the Lion Landmark at the end of the path, for accent purposes
For Tecate Pal Norte, the lion has always symbolized power and royalty, crowning the event as the most important festival in northern Mexico
For this edition, a special area was included where attendees could take photos and capture memories with the lion design of the year, as it changes with each event.

In a bid to experiment, we found a way to inflatables as an installation to create a project that could endure for many editions.
In collaboration with the eagle that represents the festival’s main sponsor, the “Pa’l Norte” letters are illuminated from within, offering a unique visual within the set of installations

At the 11 edition of the Tecate Pal’l Norte music festival in the city of Monterrey, I made a design proposal for the official store of the event, which would harbor service providers doing merchandise selling to potential buyers.
Also we had to make it a visually attractive space, that could be working as a landmark and photo opportunity
All of the design, production and assembly process were supervised and supported by the team of Roma 212 Creative House

With a recycled design, focusing solely on redesigning the graphics we created this 20 x 4 m space to house merchandise outside of the official store, primarily focusing on artist merchandise rather than festival related items
Metal structures and printed stretched canvases were used for the coverings

The first impression you get when arriving at an event is always the entrance
This project required both logistical practicality and aesthetic appeal, as due to festival conditions, it is one of the last elements to be installed
The graphics referenced the Monterrey , with two distinct designs depending on which entrance was used

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the local company DEACERO, we took part on a massive event that lasted 8 days called DEACEROVERSO.
There you could experience the fabrication of steel from its beginning as a raw material to its importance in our daily life, and to learn more about the company that makes this all possible.
At Roma 212 Creative House, I was entrusted with the design of the conference area for the event

The challenge that this project represented, being an event with only few preceding, meant a watershed to DEACERO, who are already planning on replicating this event in other parts of the country
At the conference area, the stage was the central piece, and as such, it should be designed to harmonize aesthetically with the rest of the areas

It was required that we used the materials of the company, such as W Beams, steel angles, electro-welded chain, among others- All of this to create an immersive experience to all the visitors
Nonetheless, the conference area also included the design of a specific distribution configuration where we could welcome around 140 people

Inside the music festival Tecate Out, Ibis as a brand was assigned to Roma 212 Creative House to design the stand that will present at this event
Ibis is an international hotel chain that was seeking to be related to music through a formula that had already been successful in other countries, however this was its first approach to festivals in Mexico
This two story stand by me under the guide and mentorship of my supervisors, who entrusted me to also produce and assemble it

The Ibis stand had an area of 10 x 10 meters on the floor and a front composed of a truss frame that reached 7 meters, crowned by a luminous sign of the brand logo
The second-floor structure was elaborated with scaffold, and was covered with wood frames coated with printed canvas, which together, with details in neonflex and more luminous signs, created a user experience that will allow them to rest, to take pictures, to drink their courtesy drink offered by the brand, all of this, within this space that will remain in their minds
