The Thumbs Thumbs up to Kevin  – a cabbie who works for the Orange Taxi Service. This customer tells us he always goes out of his way for his passengers and he is most courteous and cheerful too!

 Thumbs down to

the woman who recently threw a big tantrum in a local chemist shop. We were told she was rude, yelling and even threw a packet of medicine at the man behind the dispensary counter. Approx. 10 others customers stood in disbelief of this woman’s inappropriate behaviour mid-rant. This reader would like to commend the young man who kept his cool and remained self-controlled and polite throughout the abuse from this woman.

A Day on the Green

Train

Many local residents headed over to Mudgee for the ‘A Day on the Green’ music festival. The party goers enjoyed great music from bands such as INXS, Baby Animals and Train. Photo News’ Director of First Impressions went along and snapped these photos. Sam said she had a ball!

a grateful older lady, for their excellent service and help with a car lock problem. “They were marvellous,” she said.

 Thumbs down from a

reader to the four small boys throwing rocks at his house on Tuesday, 18th January. Even while he watched, these boys had a look on their faces that said, ‘You can’t do anything to stop us’. They must have only been around 5 or 6 years old. They broke the glass of the lounge room window, then ran off laughing about it after trying to vandalise street safety signs. Police were notified but the vandals weren’t caught...yet.
