“The primary focus of my job is to make sure the customer gets the right tyre or wheel for their needs. I do this by listening to the customer to make sure everything is covered. I also handle stock control and do some tyre fitting. Its great working at Bridgestone, we have great staff that all get along. I also learn something new every day which keeps it interesting. I don’t wake up dreading work which is a good sign!”
“I’m a 2nd year apprentice mechanic at Bridgestone and it’s been brilliant. The people here are great and I’ve learnt heaps. I get to work with all kinds of machinery and vehicles which is broadening my skills. There is always something to do, so I don’t get bored and the day doesn’t drag on. Both the bosses are great too!”
“It’s great working at Bridgestone because we’re all easy going, plus we get the job done efficiently. I do a bit of everything here; including vehicle maintenance, rego checks, wheel alignments and anything else that needs doing! No two days are the same which is good. We all take pride in our work which makes us a great team, I think!”
