BEAU'S FUNDRAISER FOR LITTLE PRINCESS TRUST
A member of our U10 squad has taken on a brilliant charitable cause to support the Little Princess Trust. CVJFCare always delighted to support and raise the profile of brilliant charitable causes such as this, especially one being led by one of our own young players.
After watching a programme in lockdown showing what families go through when a child is living through a cancer diagnosis, Beau decided to grow his hair and donate it so it could be used to make a wig for a child with cancer.

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair & Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
With the original fundraising target set at £500, Beau has managed to raise £1682 to date
Well done Beau, your club is extremely proud of you!

Cream Teas at Colburn Village Hall Raises a w hopping £377.20

t ow ards t he U16 Spain Trip!!
As the date for the Spain trip neared for our U16 squad, our brilliant parent volunteers were busy with their continued efforts to ensure sufficient funds for the boys to go away with. Emily Towers, who's son Marcus plays for the team, organised an afternoon cream teas event at Colburn Village Hall.

Along with the delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes on offer, a raffle and tombola added to the afternoon with some fantastic prizes available.
With the help of some of the squad, and the eager taste buds of coaches, parents and the local community, the event was a huge success, raising a significant amount towards the cost of the Nou Camp visit that was planned as part of the trip.
