U 8
The U8?s are well into Phase 3 with only a couple of fixtures remaining and then a league tournament in May
There is no league table at our age group but both teams have been very competitive in all of our fixtures and continue to improve week on week. Training has continued on Tuesday nights and it?s great to back in the village on the lighter evenings and progressively better weather!! We are continuing to focus on ball mastery and passing & moving in to space.

The kids all seem to enjoy the matches at the weekend and it?s been great to see the things we have been working on in training being taken in to the game situation
Training will carry on training throughout the summer months but have some time off to give everyone a rest We will also have some friendlies arranged in preparation for the move up to U9?s football.
The weekly trophy continues to be very popular and it?s great to see the children trying their best to take it home!
U7's happy t o be back in t he village and a new coach added t o t he squad

As we moved back onto the grass pitches from phase 2 and the indoor football, it was evident that the kids had missed playing outdoors. Relishing in the chance to once again play in the bigger goal and practice their new slide tackles
We welcomed a new coach in Jason to our team and he quickly took charge of the Panthers team. We quickly picked up from where we left off, from both indoors and outdoors, with great performances in training and on match days.
As we approach the end of our playing season it great to see what we are working on in training is being put into match situations and I believe the team is relishing the opportunity to move up an age group and continue in their development.
As a coaching team we would like to thank all the parents for there continued support throughout the season. Also a special mention to Guy and Mark for stepping into a coaching role when Jason or myself have been unavailable, Craig for refereeing the majority of the Jaguars games and The Performance Culture for sponsoring our new rain jackets. Keep up the hard work!
