CVJFC Newly Qualified Referees

Presented With Level 7 Certificates

Jack Hankin & Harry Cooper have both been presented with their Level 7 Referee Qualification by the North Riding County Football Association

The two U16 squad members achieved their qualification last Summer and have been busy officiating CVJFChome fixtures for our U9 up to U14 squads

The presentation was held at Middlesbrough?s Riverside Stadium and the guest list of speakers included Dan Meeson, FA Head of RefereeingTechnical & Development, and Ed Duckworth, FA National Referee Manager.

Presentation of their certificates followed a break the ice quiz, and Q&A session with current referees who are working between Levels 7 to 3. But they didn? t come away with just certificates.

Among the freebie FA goodies, the boys were also successful in a prize draw with Harry winning the main prize of a brand new Nike Referee kit for the 2023/24 season, and Jack winning a box of chocolates and FA Organiser!

The North Riding County FA regularly run Referee Training Courses throughout the year so if you have considered becoming a referee or would like to find out more, you can enquire about the next set of courses, which will take place from August 2023.
