星光璀璨明亮，滿空中。它們在天空默默地守護我們的同時，又是否真的能明白我們？在《星空》中，繁星見證著主角的愛情故事，從心動到心痛、從結緣到結怨。星光不論在現實或夢境中也伴隨著主角，主角的所思所想卻總不能傳達到天上。

李梓諾（作曲）

李梓諾畢業於香港中文大學音樂系，師從陳揚教授、李允琪教授及盧厚敏博士主修作曲。其廣東話合唱作品《星空》曾多次公開演出。李氏熱衷合唱音樂，曾在梵志登、高恩和帕斯高的指揮下演出。他曾參與多個合唱團演出，包括中大合唱團、香港管弦樂團合唱團、聲蜚合唱學院、Die Konzertisten及新成立的合唱小組 Noēma。他亦曾參演歌劇，包括2018年新視野藝術節的杜韻獲獎歌劇《天使之骨》及2021年崇基合唱團音樂會中飾演莫扎特《魔笛》的薩拉斯妥。李氏在學期間隨林芍彬博士主修管風琴，並曾於大學各個音樂會中演奏。他亦於2021年獲美國管風琴家協會香港分會舉辦的年輕管風琴家比賽第一名。李氏擁有豐富伴奏經驗，曾為粉嶺聖約瑟堂司琴，並於葉氏兒童合唱團及Cecilian Singers擔任伴奏。

陳卓楓（作詞）

陳卓楓為喇沙書院舊生合唱團創團團長。他曾與不同香港作曲家合作，創作廣東話合唱作品：於2018年與作曲家李唯德先生合作，首次創作合唱作品《夢之旅》予喇沙書院高級合唱團，參加第70屆校際音樂節；2023年與作曲家陳進庭先生合作，創作《龜兔》一曲，獲選為香港中文大學語現代音樂研究主辦的《以制約發創意：語合唱音樂會》演唱曲目。陳氏與李梓諾先生合作的《星空》，亦多次公開演出。除為合唱作品譜詞，陳氏亦有參與其他創作。2019年，陳氏參與《一個人一首歌》計劃，於著名填詞人周耀輝先生及唱作歌手Serrini指導下，踏足流行歌詞創作領域；陳氏亦於第一屆「天行小說賞」創作比賽入圍決賽。

Programme Note

Stars are always shining upon us. While they are silently guarding us in the sky, do they really understand us? In Stars, we witness a love story, from heart-warming to heartbreaking; from falling in love to falling apart. Even though stars are with us in dreams and in reality, they still cannot understand us as a whole.

Carlos Li (composer)

Carlos Li graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was a composition student of Prof. Kai-young Chan, Prof. Wendy Lee and Dr. Hau-man Lo. His Cantonese choral work Stars was performed publicly on several occasions. Carlos is an active chorister and has performed under the batons of Jaap van Zweden, Jonathan Cohen and Maxime Pascal. He has sung with various choirs, including CU Chorus, The Hong Kong Philharmonic Chorus, SingFest Choral Academy, Die Konzertisten, and the newly founded ensemble Noēma. Carlos has also participated in opera productions, including Du Yun’s prize-awarding opera Angel’s Bone at New Vision Arts Festival 2018, and appearing as Sarastro in Mozart’s Die Zauberﬂöte in Chung Chi Choir Concert 2021. Carlos majored in organ during his studies under the tutelage of Dr. Anne Lam, and has played for various performances at the university. He was the First Prize winner in the Young Organists Competition organised by the Hong Kong Chapter of the American Guild of Organists (HKAGO) in 2021. He has extensive experiences as an accompanist, having served as Organist at St. Joseph’s Church Fanling and Accompanist for Yip’s Children’s Choir and Cecilian Singers.

Carl Chan (lyricist)

Carl Chan is the founder and the president of the La Salle College Old Boys' Choir. He has been cooperating with different local composers, creating numerous Cantonese choral pieces. In 2018, he worked with Victor Li and created his first Cantonese choral work To Utopia for the La Salle College Senior Choir, as a performing piece in the 70th Hong Kong Schools Music Festival; in 2023, he worked with Marco Chan for the piece The Tortoise and the Hare, and the piece was performed in the global call-for-scores event “From Constraint to Creativity: A Cantonese Choral Showcase", organized by the Decoding Cantonese Creativity research project by the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The piece Stars, composed by Carlos Li, received multiple public performances. Besides Cantonese choral works, Carl has also participated in other aspects of creative writing. In 2019, he participated in the scheme "Every Life is a Song", and started to write lyrics for Cantopop under the guidance of the famous lyricist Chow Yiu Fai and the singer-songwriter Serrini. Additionally, Carl has participated in Skywalker Press’ first novel competition, and got into the finals.
