Programme

11.00–13.00 artistic workshops With the Pörgettyű Népi Játszóház Association, children can create period-jewels and toys from wool, pearls, wood, clay. With the Talentum Foundation, children can create instruments (cornets, drums) and Renaissance tiaras, wooden toys, bracelets, and various toys evoking the time of King Matthias Corvinus. From 14.00, members of the Arany Griff Rend will make a demonstration of sword and lance tactics from the period of King Matthias Corvinus, duels will make their performance even more exciting. Th ey will also demonstrate the use of our ancient weapon, the bow. As a novelty, they will present aristocratic armours and shield racks. 11.00–14.00 Renaissance skill games: beating of eggs, nut cracking, longlegs, spitting of beans, family doddering, grass hockey, swine herder’s game, apple biting, spear throwing and many other. Th e lucky ones can earn period-money, which can be exchanged for various prizes.
