Membership has, and always will, play a very important role in the daily operations of Crown Isle Resort.
As we enter the 2025 season, I’m excited for the future of the Membership, the Resort, and surrounding Crown Isle Community. When stepping into the role of Director of Resort Operations my goal was to help bring stability and consistency to the overall operation of the Resort. This involves fostering the relationship between our Membership and Resort with Guest play, while building on the long-term strategies of Real Estate & the Crown Isle Community. Our original slogan, “Come for a Tee Time, Stay for a Lifetime” still rings true today. Many of our Resort Guests today will become Members of the Golf Club and the Crown Isle Community tomorrow.
Over the past few years, we have dedicated more resources than ever in improving the golf course conditions. Rest assured, this investment will continue in 2025.
When we consider Membership along with Resort golf, accommodations and new culinary o erings along with future Real Estate opportunities within Crown Isle, we challenge ourselves with three questions:

2.Why do they stay?
3.Why do they leave?
We endeavour to remain current with the needs of our Members and Guests along with our Residents to continually provide great value in all our recreational and lifestyle o erings. We will continue to gauge how we are doing with our series of Community Surveys. Your feedback helps us understand what truly is important to our Members and Residents of Crown Isle.
We look forward to welcoming our existing Members back along with adding many new faces this season.

Golf OPERATIONS
The 2025 season at Crown Isle promises to be one of the best ever, and we are so excited to welcome our great members, new members and our guests and partners for the year ahead.
Our talented Golf Operations Team is returning for another season, and we have been working hard planning and preparing for the year ahead. Outside Services Manager John Landry, Retail Manager Crystal Murray, Head Teaching Professional Adrien Wright, Associate Professional Peter Oliphant and Director of Golf Jamie Moran will continue to deliver exceptional customer service and member benefits. Our Golf Shop o erings have been elevated, with new brands like Johnny-O, N’VO, Tail, Olu Kai footwear, Galvin Green, Yeti and Dormie Golf, along with your usual favourites FootJoy, SunIce, Polo RLX and lululemon.
On the equipment side, we have all the latest options from Titleist, Taylormade and Ping, including demos and fitting tools to make sure you have the best equipment for your game.
These companies will also be on site several times this season for demo days, as well as a special wedge fitting and short game clinic being o ered. More details to come.
Our Academy provides you many opportunities to improve your game with our ever-popular member exclusive clinics, along with private and semi-private lessons, playing lessons, group clinics, junior camps, and custom fittings. Our award-winning PGA of Canada Professionals look forward to the opportunity to work with you to achieve your goals this season and help you have more fun on the golf course. Make this the year you invest in yourself to get better!

Course MAINTENANCE
In 2025, we will target improving course conditioning and continuing putting resources into our master bunker renovation plan.
This winter we did two big projects fixing the drainage on hole 17 and re-wiring 14 heads down the right side of the hole which haven’t ran in 4 years. Look for much better conditions on that hole this summer and winter months.
Bunker renovations will continue this year. In two summers, we’ve completed 32 bunkers which is the halfway point, mostly greenside bunkers.
We continue to enhance our irrigation system and refine our fertility programs to get the best out of our turf all season long.
Lastly, but most importantly, building and growing our turf team so we are successful in delivering a high quality product and improving the culture of our multifaceted Crown Isle team. We are lucky to have our new assistant Rob. Having his experience being at two of the best facilities in Canada, we will undoubtedly be better with having him on our team.
We can’t wait for the season to get rolling.

Food & BEVERAGE
The service team’s goal is to ‘Wow’ you by providing a welcoming, fun and professional dining experience.
As spring approaches, we’re working hard to put ourselves in a position where we can o er you our best on a consistent basis. We are implementing new training programs for our team members to improve service.
We are excited to host special events at Crown Isle every month. Please check the events calendar on our website to see what event is right around the corner. In the Timber Room, we recently added a Trivia night on Monday’s from 7-9pm which has become very popular.
Coming soon, we will be launching a new Timber Room / Atrium menu, extending hours in spring, a new wine menu and so much more. We believe it is the little things that make the di erence in providing a great Crown Isle experience. O ering prize packages throughout the year, fun daily features, the Crown Isle logo on our Old-Fashioned ice cubes, new glassware, an always changing cocktail menu, add to the warm and friendly service.
It has been a wonderful experience getting to know our members. We work hard to show you that Membership has its’ privileges at Crown Isle. My door will always be open to hearing what we can do to improve our service and o er more to our community.
We are very excited about the future of Crown Isle, our food and beverage o erings, as well as the positive work environment we’re building here.

ONLINE REGISTRATION is the most convenient way to renew your membership. You can visit the Membership area on our website and complete your registration form from the comfort of your home.
IN PERSON RENEWAL Membership renewals can be processed in the Golf Shop Monday through Saturday from 9am – 5pm beginning Monday, March 3.
