Cross Border Network

The university network “Cross-Border Network of History and Arts” has been organizing cross border and interdisciplinary projects since 2007, annually dealing with art history topics that are relevant for Europe. The network is initiated and coordinated by Anna Bulanda-Pantalacci, Professor at the Trier University of Applies Sciences, and aims at establishing a sustainable follow-up concept to “Spaces of Remembrance – Architectures of the War in the Greater Region” which was created as part of the project “Luxembourg and the Greater Region – Capital of Culture 2007”, thus establishing a practical and lasting cultural cooperation between the universities. Universities of the Greater Region (Germany, France, Belgium and Luxembourg) form the core of the network. After 2007, throughout the project, additional European and Non-European partners were acquired (Poland, Ireland, Italy, USA, Canada, Georgia).
