We’re a traditionally different hotel in the heart of the Borders, made to be the backdrop to your own wee love story. From lovestruck fools to incurable romantics, grand gatherings to small “inner circle” dos, we welcome you all. We’re suckers for a good wedding and would love to be a part of yours.

Some venues start with what you can’t have, we however like to think we specialise in channelling the dreams of our couples. It’s a big day and a big deal, we get it. That’s why we plan with you all the way from your first hotel visit to the very last guest to leave.
OBEY Your wish is our command (where humanly possible...) But don’t waste any of your wishes on a warm Scottish welcome or a choice of delicious dishes made with local produce and vegetables - that’s just a standard for us! We’re here to create your day, your way and with countless “big days” under our belt we have loads of inspired suggestions too.
I DO The hotel has a choice of four unique function rooms fit for weddings small and large! With the grandest of ballrooms, three unique reception rooms serving food as fancy as you like and a 30 acre estate with the most jaw dropping views over the Borders countryside. What’s not to say ” I do” to?
Red carpets, signature suite and our wedding co-ordinator are a given. And what would your day be without a cake stand and silver knife to make that cake cutting picture complete. Our toastmaster will keep things on point with as much or as little pomp and ceremony as you’d like. We’re sticklers for detail, and you should be too. NUMBERS Generally pricing will be based on a minimum number, depending on what package you choose. That doesn’t mean you have to cull the guest list or start inviting long lost cousins, instead gives an indicative price, which may be lower per person for more guests or higher for less.

RELIVE THE MEMORIES WITH US
Whilst you’re out having photos, we’ll entertain your guests with a canape reception. Three canapes alongside a glass of fizz, 1881 G&T or Pimms per person are offered as standard but you can opt to add on more options, and give your guests a wee top up drink too.
Our three – or four – course wedding meal is served with tea, coffee and tablet, and includes half a bottle of wine per person. A glass of sparkling wine for your toasts is included too. Slanj!
BE A MENU CRITIC
ROOM FOR ONE MORE? Our Ballroom is perfect for celebrations of up to 200 guests. For a more intimate affair, we’ve two smaller rooms ideal for private dining, smaller weddings and bijou gatherings..
The evening buffet can be added on for all day guests, and any additional guests, so no need to whittle down the numbers just yet. Ask to see our sample menus for a little inspiration.
