FOREWORD

Lanz said " Yes" to going to Thailand and look what he got!... Read about it inside!

It was Lanz’s last day in Thailand. He traveled from the United States to Thailand to scuba dive in one of the best scuba diving sites in the world! Lanz is fearless and loves all kind of adrenaline pumping adventures on land, in the air and in the water. He likes to ride motorcycles, fast cars, snowboarding, skiing, skydiving, camping and of course scuba diving.

On the last day of Lanz’s diving adventure in Thailand the time that was left was too short for him to go for a dive so he decided to go on an elephant ride. He couldn’t leave Thailand without having that awesome experience!

He didn’t know that he was about to experience a one of a kind encounter. The encounter was not only going to make his adrenaline pump but also it was going to make his heart pump with so many different great feelings and emotions that he had not felt in a while.

What was coming next it was nothing that he has ever experienced before.

When he returned from his elephant ride there was a little elephant on the grounds of the place and it caught his attention. There were other tourists trying to get close to the little elephant to take a picture with him but he kept running away from them. Since it seemed an impossible task to take a picture with the little elephant the tourists finally gave up.

Lanz was still very curious about the little elephant so he got closer to the little elephant. The little elephant ignored Lanz for a little while but then Lanz squatted down and the little elephant went over where Lanz was.

Lanz remained still while the little elephant started sniffing him all over with his trunk. Carefully but trusting, Lanz started scratching his head very softly.

Lanz was in owe of what was happening and he spontaneously put out his fist and the little elephant sort of fist bumped him.

Lanz couldn’t believe what was happening but he continue doing the same thing with the little elephant a few more times. They continue to play for about 15 minutes. The little elephant’s trainers were surprised to see both of them happily playing.

Sadly, Lanz had to go so he started to move away from the little elephant and suddenly the little elephant grabbed Lanz with his trunk and pulled him back. The little elephant was committed to interact with Lanz. No one could believe what they were seeing. They played for another 15 minutes.

Eventhough Lanz didn’t want to leave the little elephant he had to but the little elephant wouldn’t let Lanz leave. He kept pulling him back.

Lanz experiencing mixed emotions finally scratched the little elephant’s head one last time and walked away. The little elephant’s trainers still astonished went to talk to Lanz and told him that the little elephant had never behaved that way before with anyone else.

Lanz felt happy that the little elephant picked him to play with. When Lanz was leaving the place of the amazing encounter he couldn’t stop but thinking that he just made a new friend.

A one of a kind friend indeed or maybe we can say that he was Lanz’s very unique fan … Lanz’s own EleFAN!!!
