FOCUS TODAY FOR SUCCESS TOMORROW

We are continuing to expand programming and offerings to our student population. Wesleyan’s Board of Trustees has committed to an aggressive plan to enhance our education, facilities, recruitment and retention of students.

The beautiful educational and life experience that Wesleyan offers her students requires consistent funding from our loyal and generous supporters.

“Wesleyan’s history is distinguished by her alumnae, whose accomplishments can be seen in almost every field imaginable. As we continue to grow, we’re working hard to challenge and inspire the next generation of leaders.”

“At Wesleyan, you can find community, develop leadership skills and excel academically. Our diverse community provides more opportunities to be involved, make meaningful connections and tap in to your leadership potential, because at Wesleyan, the crowd doesn’t block your view. Smaller class sizes allow more interaction with faculty and permit ready access to academic support if you need it. Intentional professional development programs, including internships and research opportunities, are designed to provide every Wesleyan graduate with the tools for success. We listen to your goals and help you design an academic and co-curricular plan to make them a reality, so that when you enter the professional world, Your Voice matters.”

TESTIMONIALS HOW YOUR GIVING HELPS

DENVER

“I think I’m right where I am supposed to be. The professors push us to be our best. They cheer us on during our greatest moments, support us when we have doubts, and wrap their arms around us during the hard times. I could not imagine going through nursing school anywhere else but Wesleyan College.”

“I have seen firsthand how donations to Wesleyan enrich the educational experience for our students. Thanks to donors, we have two newly renovated classrooms in Tate Hall. Again thanks to donors, I have the extraordinary opportunity to take my Model United Nations students to Argentina. Students develop leadership, networking, and public speaking skills from Model UN, but the added experience of global travel and direct engagement with a community other than their own provides a life experience of immeasurable value.”

BUILDING WOMEN LEADERS FOR THE FUTURE

The recently launched Creating Equal Opportunities (CEO) Leadership Institute operates out of the new Wesleyan College Leadership Lab in downtown Macon, Georgia. Wesleyan’s CEO Leadership Institute provides a cohort experience where highly driven students will enhance their leadership skills and receive 4:1 mentorship through peer, career, academic, and alumnae connections.

Located at 522 Cherry Street, the Wesleyan College Leadership Lab allows students to engage with programming meant to develop their skills, connect them with community and prepare for leadership roles in the fields they are studying. The space will also serve as a community hub for women-centered leadership and entrepreneurship programming, provide public space for lectures and events, and house a gallery for the College’s world-class art collection and student exhibits.

Most importantly, it will allow Wesleyan students, faculty and staff to develop connections with local businesses and community organizations and reestablish the college as an anchor of Macon’s downtown.

The Wesleyan College Leadership Lab is made possible by two grants from the Knight Foundation and Peyton Anderson Foundation, which will fund the space, staffing, and programmatic support through 2026-27 academic year.
