Dear friends and fellow cattle producers!
Thank you for your interest in our program and cattle here at Craven Angus Farm. We would like to personally invite you to attend our 7th annual performance bull and female sale on Saturday, Nov. 2nd 2024. This is our 34th year of raising registered Angus cattle, it is an exciting time to be in the cattle business! Our core beliefs remain the same; Quality, Fertility, Soundness, Good Feet, Good Udders, Docility, and Longevity. We would like to welcome our friends River Crest Angus and Jimmy Carter as guest consigners to this year’s sale.
Our herd consist of 36 momma cows that we are proud to call Craven Angus Farm. They are expected to give birth on their own, raise a calf on their own, breed back each year, while eating fescue grass and hay, much like most of you do. The open heifers in this year’s sale are some of the best that we have ever offered. One of the highlights is the 2307 heifer who is sired by Connealy Craftsmen. This heifer will be the first Sarah that we have ever offered and is possibly the best we have ever raised. Selling ½ interest in this outstanding female. All open heifers have been repro scored, vaccinated, wormed, and ready to breed.
There are two, 2-year-old bulls that will be ready for heavy service. They are sired by Deer Valley Growth Fund. These bulls were used to clean up with this past year at Craven Angus. They have not been pampered and should maintain condition while servicing cows. If you need a big framed, powerful bull to put on a large set of cows then look at 2202. He is turning into quite an impressive bull.
The yearling bulls are the most uniformed group we have ever offered for sale. They are sired by Mead Magnitude, Connealy Craftsmen, BJ Surpass, KCF Exponential, GAR Sunbeam and more. Leading the way is the 2306 bull, which set a record at CAF this spring when he weaned at 834lbs. He is very a
complete bull, structurally sound, with extra length and extremely docile. The 2313 bull is a special calf with an epd profile like no other in the Angus breed. The yearlings have been hand feed twice each day since weaning to gain 3 pounds per day, while on fescue pasture and hay. Each bull over a year old has passed a breeding soundness exam and is a guaranteed breeder, ready to service cows. As you look through the offering, we think there will be a bull or heifer to fit your needs, whether it be calving ease, frame, maternal, carcass, or high growth.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cattle sell under Terms and Conditions as recommended by the American Angus Association. Announcements made sale day from the auction block take precedence over printed material in this sale book. Cattle must be paid for in full before they are removed from premises unless prior arrangements have been made. Payments may be made in the form of cash or check. Craven Angus retains one – third semen interest on all bulls sold, should they be collected.

All bulls have passed a complete breeding soundness exam and are guaranteed breeders.
