VENUE INFORMATION Box Office: Tues – Sat, 10am – 4.30pm Phone: 01483 278000 Online: www.cranleigharts.org The nearest public car park is located outside the Cranleigh Leisure Centre on Village Way, a short walk from our v enue. Parking is free after 6.30pm. A small number of disabled parking spaces are av ailable behind the Arts Centre. All ev ening concerts in our classical programme include a 20-minute interval and aim to finish by 9.30pm. Our fully-licensed tea bar will be open, so why not drop by for a drink and an ice cream before the show or during the interv al. You are welcome to bring refreshments purchased from Cranleigh Arts into the auditorium to enjoy during our performances. Lunchtime concerts Enjoy fine chamber music during daylight hours in our series of monthly lunchtime concerts. These performances offer a v ibrant selection of programmes by young international professionals in the intimate setting of our Jack Wagg auditorium. You are inv ited to register in adv ance for free at www.cranleigharts.org Seating will be informal and unallocated, and performances last around 40 minutes. All of our performers are professional musicians whom we reward fairly for their high quality performances. If you wish to support our work, you are inv ited to giv e generously by means of a retiring collection (£10 per person suggested, or more if possible). Cranleigh piano enthusiasts will recall that Ignas shared the ev ening with Imogen Cooper at Cranleigh Arts in February 2022. In July 2021 He receiv ed “The Queen’s Award for Excellence” as the highest-scoring graduate of the Royal Academy of Music Born in California in 1998, Ignas was raised in Lithuania. In 2017, graduating from the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Art in Vilnius, he was honoured by the President of Lithuania, H.E. Dalia Grybauskaitė. With his sister and three brothers the talented Maknickas Family Ensemble has represented Lithuania on National Telev ision and at State Occasions.

Valeria and Daniel’s charismatic stage presence and friendly approach make their recitals welcoming whether you are an av id classical music fan or just somebody who enjoys listening occasionally. Their excellent indiv idual musicianship is enriched by a great chemistry and rapport between each other.

Andante con moto (B major) Cristian is an artist engaging with a multitude of repertoire, but especially dev oted to the Mozartian repertoire - a passion that has led him to conduct numerous piano concertos from the keyboard for summer festiv als as well as for the official opening of the Angela Burgess Recital Hall at the Royal Academy of Music. The year 2017 was marked by his successful and critically well receiv ed debut solo recital at the Wigmore Hall.

As a session musician, Elitsa has recorded for v arious TV programmes, pop artists, adv ertisements and films, including ‘Suspiria’ by Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, 'Midsommer' by Bobby Krlic, The Matrix Resurrections and Armando Iannucci's Dav id Copperfield. Elitsa is a member of the popular Consone String Quartet who performed at Cranleigh Arts in 2022 to critical acclaim. Ashok enjoys a regular duo partnership with tenor, Alessandro Fisher, and collaborations with other highly acclaimed performers, among them Elitsa Bogdanova and Michael Gurevich. He has been a v isiting coach at the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Ashok is also an arranger, whose arrangements for Jasdeep Degun and Cameron Shahbazi have been recorded for OperaVision and Deutsche Grammophon.

Prokofiev - Violin Sonata No.1 Janacek - Violin Sonata Ravel - Tzigane Hailed by critics and audiences alike, Japanese v iolinist Coco Tomita first gained recognition after winning the BBC Young Musician 2020 Strings Category. Her success led to an inv itation to record a debut album with Orchid Classics, numerous approaches by music festiv als across the UK, and an extensiv e concert tour of Japan. She was named as ‘One to watch’ by Gramophone Magazine and ‘Young Classical Star’ by Classic FM. Simon Callaghan performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, in parallel with a highly successful career as a recording artist. A fav ourite performer at the internationally- renowned Husum Festiv al of Piano Rarities in Germany, Callaghan’s recent sell-out concert was praised by VAN Magazine as a “clev erly curated recital full of discov eries” and by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung as “technically brilliant”.
