At the Community News, we love our high streets and the businesses in and around our communities.

The aim of this guide is to showcase what our brilliant community of independent businesses has to offer this festive season.

We’d like to encourage people to see beyond the glitzy advertising campaigns of national chains and big corporate stores and websites and to look a little closer to home. You can often find much more personal gifts shopping on your local high street, as well as unique and quirky gifts too!
