Ed’s Note..

Well it’s been a long time coming but Theresa May is making her departure from Downing Street, with a battle for her successor to start on the 10th of June… Then what for Brexit I wonder..? June seems to have come around quicker than ever and I am thoroughly looking forward to relaxing in the summer months ahead. So what’s in store for June... The Marbella Feria is going on from the 5th to the 11th, it’s Fathers Day in the UK on the 16th! On the 23rd June it’s San Juan, the one night of the year where you are allowed to camp on the beach with massive bonfires and parties along the Costa del Sols beaches. The tradition is to dip your feet in the sea at midnight for good luck! Finally June brings the end of the school term all the kids break up for the OH-SO-LONG summer holidays...good luck everyone! Have a great month and remember, try keep smiling.

A Woman’s World

SOME THINGS DON’T CHANGE!

TOILET TRAINING...

Tommy’s Mum is trying everything to toilet train him… When he goes to the bathroom, he manages to hit everything but the toilet. After two weeks of constant cleaning and bleaching, she has had enough, and takes Tommy to the doctor. After the examination, the doctor said, "His gentleman sausage is too small. As a cure he suggests that an old wives” tale may work. “Give him two slices of toast each morning, and his gentleman sausage will grow so he can hold it and aim straight." The next morning Tommy jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to the kitchen. There on the table, are twelve slices of toast. "Mum!" Tommy yells. "The doctor said I only had to eat two slices of toast." "I know,” said his mother. "The other ten are for your father."

INTERESTING… Three Ladies are playing the fourth hole at a well-known golf course on the edge of Greenwood, when a naked man wearing a paper bag over his head jumps from the trees and runs across the green. The three ladies stand in awe at the size of his manhood. The first lady says, 'He is definitely not my husband.'The second lady, gazes at his manhood and says, 'He is not mine either.'After a very considered inspection, the third lady finally says, 'He's not even a member of this golf club’.

LOVE ISLAND 2019 LINE-UP...

TAKE A LOOK AT THE RUMOURED CONTESTANTS heading into the villa. The official start date of this year’s series of Love Island is Monday 3rd June. Lots of sexy singletons are getting ready to enter the iconic Spanish villa…

Sophie Piper: Think this potential Islander looks familiar? Well, she’s the younger sister of former The Saturday’s singer and This Morning presenter, Rochelle Humes, and is the spitting image of her celebrity sibling! Curtis Pritchard: The younger brother of Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Pritchard, Curtis is thought to be heading into the villa. Tommy Fury: The 19-year-old brother of Tyson Fury is jetting off to the ITV world of romance according to the boxer himself. Ethan Allen: Anyone else noticing a theme here? Yep, this thought-to-be contestant is another celeb sibling! Scouse model Ethan is

12

the younger brother of Gaby Allen, who appeared on Love Island back in 2017. Jane Park: Jane already has over 200 thousand Instagram followers, thanks to a lucky EuroMillions win branding her the youngest UK millionaire when she was just 17-years-old. Delilah Belle Hamlin: The stunning model daughter of Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star Lisa Rinna is another big name thought to be part of this year’s line up. Ercan Ramadan: Vicky Pattison’s boyfriend, 35-year-old Ercan was reportedly approached by show execs earlier this year, although it seems unlikely Vic would be too pleased about the TOWIE star heading onto the island of love. THE LURRRVE HAS BEGUN!

ROCKETMAN IS A BIT TOO CHEEKY FOR HOLLYWOOD! The film-makers behind the Elton John musical fantasy Rocketman have clashed with a Hollywood studio over a naked sex romp featuring Taron Egerton. The film won high praise at Cannes Film Festival last month with movie goers branding it a sublime salute to one of the world’s biggest music icons. With big set piece musical numbers featuring songs such as Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting WE CAN’T WAIT TO SEE IT! TOWIE'S FAKED ROMANCE… Harry Lee blossoming relationship with

Chloe Brockett has been at the root of several explosive rows on the ITVBe show. But now Harry has hinted that his could well be faked for the cameras of the reality show. Harry had joined best pal and fellow TOWIE newbie Tom McDonnell on FUBAR Radio where they discussed their onscreen dating habits. He then dropped himself in it by saying: 'Because you’re filming, you can have an argument one day and you’re filming the next day, and I’m with her. 'Where as really, I would probably have said "Nah, I’m not going to see her for a few weeks cos she’s doing my head in a little bit".' Well what a shocker!

DOWNTON ABBEY THE MOVIE... Downton Abbey took the world by

storm when it debuted on ITV in 2010. The show followed the aristocratic Crawley family and their team of servants from 1912 until 1925. We now know the plot of the film, which will see Downton prepare for a royal visit from King George V and Queen Mary in 1927. The movie will hit EU cinemas on 13th September 2019, expect to see favourites return including Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern as Lord and Lady Grantham and Michelle Dockery and Laura Carmichael as their daughters Mary and Edith.

ROYAL BABY... IT’S A BOY!

A few weeks have passed and just because Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will have someone else to do night feeds, the actual Queen to babysit and a person whose sole job it is to remove all signs of baby vomit from their home, it doesn’t mean they’re not going to find this parenting business hard. Actually, it probably does, but let’s give them some advice anyway.... • You know how you used to talk about fashion, and politics, and books, and food and holidays? Yeah, now you talk about poo. Poo chats are broader than you think. Areas for critique can include: colour, texture, aroma, quantity and stickiness, and you will be discussing all of this with the man you have sex with. • Meghan, just give in to temptation and taste your own breast milk. Harry, just give in to temptation and taste Meghan’s breast milk. Apparently everyone does it!!! • It's obligatory to tell friends that your baby is 'sleeping through the night' by the time they are three months old. If they are not sleeping through the night by the time they are three months old, then there is one thing for it, and that is to tell yourself that midnight until 3am is ‘the night’ and LIE.

ROYAL BABY... IT’S A BOY! • All hideous baby outfits bought by well-wishers must be worn and photographed, so you have proof that they were used before you take them down to the charity shop. • You know the old expression; when your baby’s sleeping, you should be straightening your hair? OK, fine, it’s not an old expression, but it is a true expression. It’s the only time you’ll get to do it, Meghan, and you have a lot of hair so stop reading this and plug in those GHDs. • Eco-friendly? Not any more, you’re not. Yes, that is the tumble dryer on again. • You will never again eat wholegrain mustard. It’s best if we don’t go into why. • If other parents look at your little boy weirdly because he looks like he’s wearing lip-gloss, just shout ‘IT’S NIPPLE CREAM, OK?’ in their faces. That should see them off. • Put Dairy Milks / Duchy’s Originals nearby for when you’re breastfeeding because sudden movements will wake the baby up, and you are going to need to mainline chocolate. • And lastly remember no-one likes a baby bore, so do remember to ask people about their own lives too. Something like “Been to any good parties lately, Beatrice?” or “What’s that pesky husband of yours been up to now, Zara?” should lead to a fun, lively chat.

“Let’s Go…..Wine Tasting in Andalucia!” The Ronda region is renowned for its’ abundance of contrasting, high quality vineyards featuring a wide variety of grapes mainly reds - but also quality whites and roses to enjoy on those hot summer days. Small groups can explore the region with 1, 2 or 3 cellar visits sampling the best quality and minimal interference wines of the region and exploring the vineyard, its’ facilities & generous tastings of 3-4 wines with your Sommelier certified host. Each cellar visit lasts around 2 hours and is accompanied by tapas of cheese and meats; a true Andalucian experience. Your vineyard lunch includes more of your favourite wine with your meal, enjoying a bottle or two with your companion and new friends. The 1 and 2 cellar tours also include free time to explore the centre of Ronda in the afternoon, making the most of this wonderful day out. 3 cellar visits are a full day and therefore Ronda sightseeing isn’t provided today but if you are staying over in Ronda, there is ample time to do your sightseeing on another day. If you would like a full day tour of 3 cellars but prefer some variation, the option is available to swap out a wine cellar for a premium olive oil tasting, or a local organic farm for jamón tasting. A beautiful, authentic tour of this region is a must for both tourists to the area and locals. It is a memorable day out to be enjoyed with your travelling companion, or maybe get a small group of friends together for an alternative break away? The choice is yours.

UP AGAINST THE MOB...

A Mafia Godfather finds out that his bookkeeper has screwed him for ten million bucks. The bookkeeper is deaf. It was considered an occupational benefit, and why he got the job in the first place, since it was assumed that a deaf bookkeeper would not be able to hear anything he'd ever have to testify about in court.

]

When the Godfather goes to shakedown the bookkeeper about his missing $10 million bucks, he brings along his attorney, who knows sign language. The Godfather asks the bookkeeper: "Where is the 10 million bucks you embezzled from me?" The attorney, using sign language, asks the bookkeeper where the 10 million dollar is hidden. The bookkeeper signs back: "I don't know what you are talking about." The attorney tells the Godfather: "He says he doesn't know what you're talking about." That's when the Godfather pulls out a 9 mm pistol, puts it to the bookkeeper's temple, cocks it, and says: "Ask him again!" The attorney signs to the underling: "He'll kill you for sure if you don't tell him!" The bookkeeper signs back: "OK! You win! The money is in a brown briefcase, buried behind the shed in my cousin Enzo's backyard in Queens!" The Godfather asks the attorney: "Well, what'd he say?" The attorney replies: "He says you don't have the balls to pull the trigger."

A NIGHT ON THE TILES... RECENTLY A ROUTINE POLICE PATROL WAS PARKED OUTSIDE A BAR IN DUBLIN, IRELAND. AFTER LAST ORDERS, THE OFFICER NOTICED A MAN LEAVING THE BAR SO APPARENTLY INTOXICATED THAT HE COULD BARELY WALK... The man stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity, in which he tried his keys on five different vehicles, the man managed to find his car and fall into it. He sat there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started the car, switched the wipers on and off; it was a fine, dry summer night, flicked the blinkers on and off a couple of times, honked the horn and then switched on the lights. He moved the vehicle forward a few inches, reversed a little, and then remained still for a few more minutes as some more of the other patrons' vehicles left. At last, when his was the only car left in the parking lot, he pulled out and drove slowly down the road. The police officer, having waited patiently all this time, now started up his patrol car, put on the flashing lights, and promptly pulled the man over and administered a breathalyzer test. To his amazement, the breathalyzer indicated no evidence that the man had consumed any alcohol at all! Dumbfounded, the officer said, “I'll have to ask you to accompany me to the police station. This breathalyzer equipment must be broken.” “I doubt it,” said the truly proud Irishman. “Tonight I'm the designated decoy!”

GADGETS &Gizmo’s Lenovo have just announced a 13.3in 2K OLED PC that folds up to roughly the size of a large diary, but that makes it much more compact than most laptops. As with any foldable, versatility is the main selling point. The currently unnamed device can be used as a tablet, a laptop with a digital keyboard, or held half folded like a book. There’s a kickstand if you want to stand it up and connect a Bluetooth keyboard, as well as pen support for scribbling.

Samsung already has a trio of Galaxy S10 models but there's one more on the horizon, The S10 5G boosts the screen size up to 6.7in, but the more obvious benefit comes with 5G connectivity, letting you get incredible speed from a compatible network. This ultra-premium model also packs in a fourthback camera with 3D capabilities.

The Morus Zero is a minimalist compact tabletop eco-friendly tumble dryer that uses clever Vacuum+ dehydration technology to dry clothes quickly while consuming less energy. A built-in UV steriliser also eliminates 99.9% of bacteria during the ultrafast drying time (which can take as little as 15 minutes) and low-temperature drying can also be used to protect your favourite clothes from shrinkage or damage.

These new sunglasses from Bose have tiny speakers and a microphone built in, so you can stream tunes from your phone and speak to Siri or Google Assistant. They also have GPS and motion sensors on-board, which means Bose’s Audio AR platform will know what you’re looking at and tell you all about it. They come in two styles - square and round. 36

All the latest in the world of tech and gaming... Soundesk is in fact a coffee table that has a bunch of speakers built into it. Basically it’s a conical aluminium-clad Amazon Echo, topped with a circle of tempered glass and provides 360-degree 80W audio from five built-in speakers. If you have two and you have full stereo.

For perfect frozen yoghurt add some milk and yoghurt culture, and then drop in whatever other ingredients you fancy to your Frolyo. The app customises the output (for example, adjusting texture), and gives recipe ideas.

HP’s Omen X 2S is the first gaming laptop to employ a dual-screen setup. The second display is located conveniently just above the keyboard, and opens up a whole host of multitasking capabilities. You could have Spotify open on the lower display for example, or there’s the option to copy a feature in the game, such as the map, to the second screen.

Children's headphones maker Puro Sound Labs has finally launched PuroQuiet noise cancelling headphones. They have been designed specifically for kids, meaning volume is limited to 85dB to prevent hearing damage. Noise cancelling can be turned on by flicking a switch, helping to block out daily noise and background sounds of up to 22dB.

HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED... Shaming a Victorian Lady! “INNOCENT” THINGS THAT WOULD SHAME A VICTORIAN WOMEN, AND WE DO THEM EVERY DAY... The Victorian era lasted from 1837 to 1901. During this time in Great Britain, there were a lot of social reforms. The etiquette that we still use today was created at that time, but the state of women’s affairs was pretty miserable and very well regulated. In order to avoid being humiliated and mocked, Victorian women were supposed to follow a lot of rules that described every aspect of their lives...

1) It was inappropriate to even mention women’s underwear: It was believed that even mentioning women’s underwear could spark an unhealthy interest in body parts. When talking about this, a Victorian lady said, “They are not the things we talk about, my dear; we try not to think about them.” A modern person would most likely think that the underwear of the past were pretty vulgar. The thing is that the unmentionables (the pantaloons that they wore instead of underwear) did not have an

inseam. So, instead there was a hole in the middle. This is why can-can was so popular and risqué in its time.

2) It was considered inappropriate and dangerous to take a hot bath: In Victorian times, people didn't take baths very often, because they thought that a completely wet body lost its natural protection, which could lead to psychological disorders, fevers, or something even worse. During the Victorian era they were supposed to wash themselves in cold water, using a sponge soaked in cold water with a drop of vinegar. There was no such thing as a warm bath. People believed that taking a bath in water that was warmer than 37.8°c could lead a woman to madness or even stimulate her to look for carnal pleasure. Just think our modern jacuzzi’s would definitely terrify these virtuous Victorian ladies and gentlemen.

Waiting for God, oh... A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital.

While on the operating table she had a near death experience... Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?" God said... "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live." Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair colour and brighten her teeth! Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it. After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance. Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?" (You'll love this) God replied: “I didn't recognise you. Boom, boom!

A Man’s World

FUNNY TIPS FOR US FELLOWS...

HOW TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK... A kid comes home from school with a writing assignment. He asks his father for help. "Dad, can you tell me the difference between potential and reality?" His father looks up, thoughtfully, and then says, "I'll demonstrate. Go ask your mother if she would sleep with Robert Redford for a million pounds. Then go ask your sister if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a million pounds. Then come back and tell me what you've learned." The kid is puzzled, but decides to ask his mother. "Mum, if someone gave you a million pounds, would you sleep with Robert Redford?" "Don't tell your father, but yes, I would," she replies. He then goes to his sister's room. "Sis, if someone gave you a million pounds, would you sleep with Brad Pitt?" She replies, "Omigod! Definitely!" The kid goes back to his father. "Dad, I think I've figured it out. Potentially, we are sitting on two million quid, but in reality, we are living with two sluts." JUST A QUICKIE... • There are three stages of sex in a man’s life: Tri Weekly, Try Weekly, and Try Weakly. • When I was born, I was given a choice... A big manhood or a good memory. I don’t remember, what I choose. • Having sex is like playing bridge. If you don’t have a good partner,

52

you'd better have a good hand. • Despite the old saying, ‘Don't take your troubles to bed’ many men still sleep with their wives. • Two guys were discussing popular family trends on sex, marriage, and values Stu said, “I didn't sleep with my wife before we got married, Did you?” Lee replied, “I’m not sure, what was her maiden name?”

CHILDREN’S EYESIGHT…

Children rarely complain about their sight, but often show there may be a problem with their vision through their behaviour. This can include sitting too close to the TV, rubbing their eyes a lot, holding objects very close to their face, blinking a lot, or one eye turning either in or out. If you think your child is experiencing any sort of sight problems, take them to an ophthalmic practitioner for a check-up as soon as possible. All babies should have their eyes checked at birth and again at about six weeks of age by a doctor. Young children with suspected vision problems should be referred to an orthoptist, who is part of the eye care team and generally works alongside ophthalmologists and optometrists. Orthoptists work in local health clinics or hospital eye clinics.

SIGNS TO WATCH OUT FOR:

• Needs to have books very close when reading. • Squints or blinks often. • Tilts his/her head to see better (while looking at a picture or the television, for example). • Rubs his/her eyes when not sleepy. • Closes one eye to see better (while looking at a book or watching television, for example). • Avoids close, near-vision activities like scribbling, coloring, playing board games, or doing schoolwork •Avoids distance-vision activities, like watching birds or planes or playing catch, or has trouble seeing small objects at a distance or reading the blackboard in school. •Has trouble following an object with his/her eyes. •Has recurrent headaches at the end of the day. • Complains of tired eyes. • Seems overly sensitive to light.

Once your child's vision has been checked, it's important to continue with regular sight tests. Your child should have a check-up at least every two years, as problems can occur at any age. Even if none of the symptoms described above are displayed, there could still be an underlying eye condition. If you're concerned about your child's vision, arrange an appointment with a local ophthalmic practitioner they see children of any age. Many concerns can be resolved completely by the ophthalmic practitioner without the need to refer your child to a specialist such as an orthoptist or ophthalmologist. This is to detect whether a child has reduced vision in one or both eyes. This is important because many children will not realise they have reduced vision, and parents will not normally be able to see it by just looking at the child. It's recommended all children be seen by an orthoptist-led service to assess their vision between the ages of four and five. 56

The earlier any problems are picked up, the better the outcome. If you have any concerns about your child's eyes or there is a history of squint or lazy eye in the family, it's important you do not wait for the vision screening at school. Take your child to an ophthalmic practitioner for a sight test. Children do not have to be able to read to have their eyes examined. It's possible to see whether the child has a squint or needs glasses without asking them any questions, using age-appropriate tests and equipment. Eye examinations do not hurt. It might be necessary to put drops in your child's eyes so they can be tested to see if they need glasses and that the backs of the eyes are healthy. If this is the case for your child, it will be discussed with you in advance.

THE ENGLISH DENTAL PRACTICE Dr. Alex McCubbin

Susana Lucena - Hygienist GENTLE IMPLANTS

• No cutting • No scalpels • No bleeding • No sutures • No swelling • No pain

With over 20 years of experience in Implant Surgery, Alex is probably the most experienced Implant Dental Surgeon on the coast. Using his experience in conjunction with the wonderful minimally invasive technique, he is able to place almost all implants with - NO SURGERY and NO PAIN. The implant is placed very quickly using normal local anaesthetic, so you have minimal discomfort - no worse than having a filling! Subsequent treatment (impressions, fitting the post and crown) require no local anaesthetic. This very gentle procedure allows placement of implants without the need for building new bone in most cases. If bone augmentation is required this can be done in almost all cases WITHOUT CUTTING THE GUMS.

The Power of MoVeMeNT

My son (aged 7) recently said “I feel sleepy but its only 4 o’clock” to which I responded, then lets go for a walk. Now most of us know that children don’t normally suffer from lack of movement, in fact often it is difficult for them to sit still or at least that used to be the case. As we know all too well children as young as 15 are developing diabetes based on poor nutrition and lack of activity aka movement. None or very little movement is far more common in those over the age of 55. After our walk/run (he cannot help but run) my son felt alert and not sleepy at all. The solution was simple but easily avoided, the sofa is a very comfortable and attractive alternative. Three scientific studies appeared this year, trumpeting the “power of movement,” as the New York Times “Well” newsletter put it, in combating death, depression, and disease, respectively.

In a study of approximately 3000 50-79 year olds, researchers found that those with the highest level of total activity had one-fifth the risk of death as those with the lowest. They also found that replacing thirty minutes of sedentary activity with either moderate-to-vigorous or light activity resulted in a “significant reduction in mortality risk.” The participants in the study had been equipped with ultra-sensitive accelerometers for seven days and then followed for eight years as part of the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey in the US.

message. GET UP AND MOVE! What is still unclear to many is the specific guidelines as to how much and how often however the generic minimum should be 5x a week and for a minimum of 30 minutes per day. If you find this is very difficult for you then you must establish why that is? Consult a health professional that is experienced with exercise and nutrition instead of perhaps a medical doctor.

LET’S FACE IT, SEDENTARY LIFE IS ADDICTIVE! We rarely say it but most of us love to sit, watch and relax…… We retrain our sensory system to enjoy and gain pleasure from certain experiences to become hooked or addicted (think Netflix). The desire to move and exercise or put oneself out of comfort is not at all appealing at In a study of 38 healthy volunteers, the first and this can be very dangerous. It turns out researchers observed on a stationary bike (ensur- the importance of moving increases with age ing to work to 85% of predicted Max heart rate) (not decreases as some protest). altered the participants level of two crucial neu- WHY NOT TRY SOMETHING NEW? rotransmitters, GABA and glutamate. ONLY SECOND AT CRUFTS...

A lady is very upset because her pet Chihuahua has only been placed second in Best Of Breed at Crufts so she decides to speak to the Judge and get some advice on how to win.

The Judge tells her that her dog only came second because it had hair growing on its chin. He advised her to apply Immac Hair Remover Cream for 2 weeks just before next year’s competition to ensure 1st place.

So 2 weeks before following years Cruft Show off she goes to the local pharmacy and asks for a tub of Immac Hair Remover. The assistant asks if she has used it before to which she says she hasn't. The assistant tells her not to wear a tight blouse after application to allow the cream time to work on armpit hair. The Lady replies indignantly that the Cream is not for her armpits but for her Chihuahua. The assistant replies "in that case madam don't ride your bike for a couple of days."

BMW M5’S BIRTHDAY...

It’s the BMW M5’s 35 birthday this year – lets have a look back at a real wolf in sheep’s clothing…..

The M5 made its debut at the Amsterdam motor show in 1985, based on the second generation 5 Series, the E28, which was launched a year before. The E34 M5 of 1989, had a lot more bespoke items, including radically upgraded suspension, braking and steering an estate version was also offered but not that well received.

The 1998, E39, was only sold as a fourdoor saloon. This third-generation M5 was the first to be built on the normal 5 Series production lines. The E60 M5 of 2005 used its own body panels based on a wider track than the standard car. An estate version – The Touring was again offered and again, not that successful.

The fifth-generation F10 M5, first appeared at the 2011, it was face lifted in 2013 and offered with an M Competition Package giving 575bhp, and a retweaked chassis control system.

To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the BMW M5, the German brand has released a new special edition 616 BHP model, limited to just 350 units and capable of 0-100 kph in 3.3 seconds.

18) The Dance Fever of 1518 was a month-long plague of inexplicable dancing in Strasbourg, in which hundreds of people danced for about a month for no apparent reason. Several of them danced themselves to death. 19) In 1993, San Francisco held a referendum over whether a police officer called Bob Geary was allowed to patrol while carrying a ventriloquist's dummy called Brendan O'Smarty. The referendum voted that he could indeed carry Brendan with him. 20) Sigurd the Mighty, a ninth-century Norse earl of Orkney, was killed by an enemy he had beheaded several hours earlier. Capricorn, Mars, Mercury and the Sun are in your skies this month from the 21st. You’re more willing than ever to get involved in your life as a couple, to put in the effort in order to win over or win back someone; to prove that your other half can count on you when they need you. If you are single your ability to seduce is off the chart, you regain the favour to win someone’s heart. June 2019 can be favourable for Capricornians who want to discuss marriage or organise a wedding that will be a social event to remember. This month sees you viewing work with a lot more pleasure than you usually do. Avoid provoking those who you’re hoping will help or support you! Be more understanding and flexible! The New Moon of June 3th sees the stars pointing out new opportunities of employment; or the fact that you begin a new phase of your professional life. Aquarius, the New Moon of June 3rd gives you the chance to spruce up your love life; maybe surprise your other half with a romantic dinner, or some other gesture that will bring the two of you together. You may get a sudden wake-up call, it’s not advisable to rush into action or draw conclusions, but rather try to change your perspective on things. Be very careful when communicating with bosses or authorities. If you’re not well informed about ask for a specialist’s help. Over all June is a great time to spend more time with your family, take better care of your home life, and don’t get all huffy and puffy when you receive advice from those who are older or more experienced than you! Aries, with Venus in your sign from June 9th, onwards you find the right words to say in order to get the attention of someone you want to fall in love with. Now is the best time to clear up various relationship-related issues, because you’re adaptable and more flexible to ideas. If you are looking for love, the transits of June 2019 are favourable. You might notice a hot neighbour or colleague. Don’t rush things physically, because you risk ruining everything! Professionally, you stand to gain from accumulating new information particularly if you’ve been looking for a job and can’t find anything you like. When it comes to your budget, you can expect discussions and negotiations rather than actual changes. Slowing down and taking time off to rest recharge your batteries throughout June 2019. Why not take a hike or get on your bike and get planning your next holiday it will be like a breath of fresh air.

Taurus, you’re more willing than ever to give affection and emotional support, to connect emotionally with your other half. You may be feeling a little melancholy though and having thoughts of the romance that used to be. If you’re single, you seduce others through sweet-talking! Pluto is in apparent retrograde motion through your sign this month, so there might be surprising interventions needed to reach a compromise on the home front. Make time for you family, be patient with loved ones, and be diplomatic when it comes to money! Instead of worrying yourself with all kinds of issues and secrets, it would be better to share them with your close ones. You won’t want for things to do in June 2019, you are going to be busy! But there is a reward for all this hard work. The New Moon and Full Moon of June 3rd and 17th, will give you the necessary inspiration needed to discover new sources of income.

Gemini, Venus enters your sign on June 9th, 2019. It seems you’ll become easier to love; you’ll ooze charm. But steer clear of talking too much, and avoid singing your own praises! If you’re part of an established couple, your other half wants to be heard and may call you out on taking refuge in your work instead of dealing with pressing relationship-related matters. Professionally, things are slower to move along in June. It’s possible that some professional partnerships could end rather suddenly. When it comes to money, a lot depends on you and your talent at managing income and personal resources. The New Moon of June 3rd marks the beginning of a new cycle of development. You begin a term of focusing on yourself and your needs, and you should focus on renewal, looking at things from new perspectives, seeking new ways of standing out but avoid aggressiveness.

Cancer, Mars is already in your sign and it’s joined by and the Sun. You are set to shine, you’re interested in having fun but not necessarily willing to commit for the long run at this time. Unfortunately, as of the second half of the month your relationships get more complicated and tense, and you seem to be in complete disaccord with your other half. But you could also simply be unsure about what it is that you want when it comes to your love life, and need more time to think. Take that time! Throughout June 2019 you’re accompanied by professional inspiration and, on top of that, life can bring your way someone to guide you towards success. When it comes to money, things become more promising after June 21st, you could try to become more active when it comes to creating your own opportunities of development and earning. June is a great time for re-evaluating your health status.

Leo, when it comes to love, you tend to be too predisposed to hunt illusions that could end up costing you a lot, literally. So it might be a good idea to re-evaluate decisions made in January regarding a relationship, or to re-evaluate a connection that began then. At work you have success with group projects and collaborations. Other than that, you reap the benefits of efforts you’ve put in previously, and you can improve your income by using intuition and survival instinct – not your impulse to take risks. It’s better to avoid speculative investments give yourself time to think, and don’t let friends influence you when it comes to deciding on what to do with your money. June is a great time to heal, to connect with what is truly important to you and your soul. Why not take a well, earned trip or at least a long weekend.

Virgo, during the 4th to the 27th of June Mercury brings you a pleasant mood. If you’re single, going out with friends and attending various events for causes bring you into contact with new and interesting people it might generate mutual attraction and interest. But it won’t evolve too quickly towards passionate love stories; it’s going to take time, patience, and getting to know each other really well. The New Moon of June 3rd will bring change opening up a new stage of your professional life or of new projects. You suddenly find yourself in the spotlight and it’s the best time to make a good impression. Be bolder when it comes to your career – don’t hesitate to venture into the unknown! Change your approach! The Sun crosses your sign later in the month so expect a bonus or a raise, or maybe you might get a promotion that will involve better income. Time spent with friends helps you relaxand see life with a good side again. Libra, your love life might become a point of contention this month. For some of you unpleasant events lead to you getting closer to your partner and consolidating the basis on which you build their life together. If you’re looking for love, be patient, because in June there won’t be much progress. You might befriend someone, an attraction might spark to life, but it tends to be more intellectual in nature. Professionally, in June 2019 you feel pressured or constricted by expectations from those around you. Avoid fanning the flames of professional conflicts, because they can escalate and affect your reputation! When it comes to money, you might notice that an investment is taking up too much of your income. If you’ve started building something or renovating, things might slow down due to a lack of funds. You’ll feel much better this month by get outside and burning off some irritations or by working out more.

Scorpio, on June 9th Venus will be accompanied by the Sun they are transiting through your sign. The planetary transits favour closeness and you find yourself opening up your soul in ways you’ve never done before. Single Scorpios enjoy more success in love during the first half of the month, because Neptune begins its retrograde motion on June 21st. Give yourself time to re-evaluate your feelings and don’t fall in love too quickly. The New Moon of June 3rd and the Full Moon of June 17th are astrological events with a strong impact on your finances. Make the most of the planetary transits of June in order to clean up your life! Get rid of useless things, and try to end toxic relationships and collaborations that use up your energy without offering much in return. Get motivated and informed, so you can have a healthier lifestyle. Take the first steps in that direction, at least!

Sagittarius, the New Moon of June 3rd expect your love life to enter a new phase, in which there are less conflicts between you and you’re other half. If you’re single, you could go on an unusual date, marked by intellectual spark and a very deep attraction. Make the most of the Full Moon, which happens in Sagittarius on June 17th, 2019, in order to re-evaluate yourself; but also for balancing your needs with those of others. Or put an end to a situation that’s bothering you. Venus will bring harmony with work collaborations or an association might be extremely beneficial for your professional life or for developing your business. When it comes to money, things aren’t that simple. Money comes in, but with delays and effort, and it can generate conflicts and emotional dissatisfaction. If you’re concerned about your health, it wouldn’t hurt to see a doctor. Just to get back your optimism and peace of mind.

The other day I needed to pay a visit to the public toliet, so I found a public toilet that had two cubicles. One of the doors was locked. So I went into the other one, closed the door, dropped my trousers and sat down. A voice came from the cubicle next to me: “Hello mate, how are you doing?” Although I thought that it was a bit strange, I didn't want to be rude, so I replied “Not too bad thanks.” After a short pause, I heard the voice again “So, what are you up to?” Again I answered, somewhat reluctantly, “Just having a quick poo... How about yourself?” The next thing I heard him say was “sorry mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some idiot in the cubicle next to me answering everything I say.”

The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted on the apple tray: "Take only ONE. God is watching." Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. A child had written a note, "Take all the cookies you want God is watching the apples."

So he went to a singles bar and he searched until he spotted a woman whose beauty took his breath away. "Right now, I'm just an ordinary man," he said to her, "but within a month or two, my father will pass and I'll inherit over 20 MILLION EUROS." The woman went home with Robert. Four days later she became his stepmother.

"Ar've got everythin' organised awready, the fluers, the church, the caurs, the reception, the rings, the minister, even ma stag night." Archie nods approvingly. "I've even bought a kilt to be married in!" continues Jimmy. "A kilt?" exclaims Archie. "That's magic, you'll look pure smart in that. What's the tartan?" "Och," says Jimmy. "A'd imagine she'll be in white.”"

A doctor examining a woman who had been rushed to the Emergency Room, took the husband aside, and said, “I don't like the looks of your wife at all.” “Me neither doc,” said the husband. “But she's a great cook and really good with the kids.”
