Founded in 1961, we’re a fourth-generation, family-run farm based in Miami, and with farms across Florida, as well as North and South Carolina, and the Dominican Republic. We have the infrastructure, experience, and products to meet your needs, and those of your consumers.

We grow more than 1,500 varieties of indoor and outdoor plants, from adorable 2.5-inch pots and up. Our product categories include houseplants, cacti and succulents, outdoor tropicals (including ferns and palms), annuals, and perennials, so we have a solution for practically every retail situation.

Our Pottery

We cultivate more than 1,500 different varieties of plants and develop incredibly fashionable pots to go with them. We look at trends roughly two years out (in many fields including fashion, architecture, and interior design). To find out what kinds of colors, textures, materials, and trend movements are on the horizon from the consumer side, we collaborate with trend agencies that attend all the new product launches and fashion shows. We also examine the socioeconomic elements that will affect our business and collaborate with the suppliers to produce top-notch, reasonably

priced, and fashionable products. We collaborate with agencies that are experts in textile, fashion, and home decor industry trends.

Designers from multiple nations employ hand sketches, digital mood boards, and 3D software to start turning concepts into actual products and produce handmade prototypes for testing.

We are constantly researching low-impact materials to ensure the future of our planet.

A collection of rare and exotic houseplants

The Costa Farms Trending Tropicals collection is a curated selection of rare, trendy, and unique houseplants hand-selected by our Plant Hunters. Many of these varieties are among the hottest plants on social media, and some have never been commercially available to consumers until now. For example, our Geogenanthus was crowned the “ Plant” of 2022 by The New York Times!
