Welcome Costa Farms® is one of the largest horticultural growers in the world.

Established 60 years ago with headquarters in Miami, Florida, we started with just 30 acres on which our founder, Jose Costa Sr. grew tomatoes in winter and calamondin citrus in summer. Not long after, we started innovating and introducing houseplants. We now grow more than 1,500 varieties on 5,200 acres!

We’re dedicated to growing beautiful, healthy plants that help you grow your business. To ensure you and your customers have the best-possible experience with our houseplants, we acclimate them from Miami conditions to those of the average home.

We take pride in releasing new plant varieties and collections so you can pick the right plants for your customers. For example, Trending Tropicals® allows you to offer rare, unique houseplants from around the world. And Exotic Angel® Plants gives you the opportunity to sell a wide variety of premium small foliage plants.

And we bring solutions like Wick & GrowTM, a self-watering system, that allows you to keep the plants in your store perfectly watered all the time.

TRENDING TROPICALS® A COLLECTION OF RARE AND EXOTIC HOUSEPLANTS The Trending Tropicals® collection is an exclusive offering that provides you with a variety of rare and unique houseplants from remote, and exotic locations around the world—including South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

These tabletop offerings have been hand selected by a team of Plant Hunters (led by plantsman Mike Rimland). The team has decades of experience finding new varieties and working with plant breeders, nurseries, and other sources. We never take them from the wild.

Before we introduce them, new varieties in the Trending Tropicals® collection are thoroughly tested to ensure they’ll grow well in the typical home.

Some varieties in the Trending Tropicals® collection are so rare they’ll only be available for a limited time, and new varieties will come into the collection every year, keeping it fresh and exciting.
