Interested in fashion, hair styles and makeup? Join us to create flapper boas, cat eyes and crazy 80s hairstyles. Each day we will learn about the history and the fashion trends of a different era in the 20th century. Through imagination, expression, diction, movement, voice and character development, campers explore the many aspects of drama and strengthen their ability to express themselves. Throughout the week, you will be immersed in roleplaying, pantomime, improvisation, skits and a variety of theatre games, which will help build acting skills, experience and confidence.

Digital Photography

8-10 a.m. OR 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. What you see is what you get...or is it? Are you ready to go beyond the trusty point-and-shoot method of photography? Learn to take a great photo and watch it magically change as you apply compositional techniques, such as angles, leading lines and the rule of thirds. Manipulate a photo’s color, light and structure with lessons in Photoshop. Students are encouraged to bring their own digital cameras. The class is limited to 15 students.

Geocaching Adventures

Join us on an interactive outdoor treasure hunt using GPS devices to find hidden containers called “geocaches.” Campers will learn about the adventure of geocache, while exploring the area on and around Cor Jesu’s campus. Campers will need to bring their own smart phone or other GPS device.

Intro to 3D Design

Cor Jesu soccer coach Ellen Summers has more than 15 years of teaching and coaching strength and conditioning. This new conditioning program is for any girl, middle school-aged or enrolled at Cor Jesu, who wants to build a “Stronger U.” All daily activities will encourage building endurance, strength, balance and flexibility to help shape more wellrounded athletes. This camp will look at three categories: strength, speed and agility. Emphasis will be placed on proper technique in all movements, geared toward developing stronger athletes through core lifts, auxiliary lifts, mobility training exercises and dynamic movements.
