Thank you for joining us at our 47th Annual Cor Jesu Auction, with your Hearts Wide Open! It is such a grace to have you here, supporting us as part of our larger Cor Jesu Community. In fact, the auction is already a success because you are here!
There have been so many opportunities this year to bring to life the theme Hearts Wide Open. We see it happening every day when our students share the love of the Heart of Christ with each other and with our world. We see it when they take on challenges in the classrooms, on the fields and courts, on the stage and in the service they generously give. What great examples they are to all of us to do everything with hearts full of love!
Since last year’s auction, we implemented numerous capital improvements. We opened a new enclosed courtyard for the students to use during the school day, repaved our parking lot and are in the process of making practice space for our choir and orchestra.
So many people have shared their Hearts Wide Open with us to make this auction an elegant event with so much joy and camaraderie. A special thank you to:
• Our Auction Chair, Mrs. Aimée Bergan, and Auction Shadow Chair, Mrs. Janice Loeffelman, for all their time and expertise in organizing this huge event!
• Our volunteers – those who helped us ahead of time to collect items, make baskets and solicit gifts, as well as those who are helping us tonight to make this go off without a hitch!
• Our donors and attendees tonight –we could not do this without you.
