COREcruitment is an independently owned international 360° recruitment agency with six offices around the globe. Working with a range of well-established clients from multi-unit properties, single sites, start up food & beverage companies and beyond, COREcruitment has a leading reputation for our extensive search methods which are highly confidential, thorough,andefficient.

COREcruitment’s North American office opened mid 2015 and has since been representing clients all across the US, Canada and the Caribbean, with our key markets including New York, Boston, DC, Miami, Texas, Philadelphia, Oregon, California, Georgia, British Columbia, Ontario andAlberta.

Our team consists of seven well trained consultants that all have previous hospitality experience and are well versed in recruiting within the industry. REFERRALS

We have a target at COREcruitment that 40% of our placed candidates will come via referrals and recommendations – good people tend to know good people. We actively incentivise candidates to put us in touch with their friends / colleagues and contacts to find a higher number of ‘passive job seekers’.

ADVERTISING

While our existing database of candidates is our first port of call, we also place advertising on 23 specifically targeted, UK and international websites. We even write the adverts using the latest keyword and SEO insights available.All adverts are posted with a highlevelofconfidentially.

We actively target candidates from competitor businesses. Weuse a variety of techniques in our approach all while maintaining the strictest ofconfidentiality.

THREE STAGE SCREENING PROCESS

• Thefirststageofourprocessisbyinitiallyscreeningacandidatebyconductinganonvacancyspecifictelephoneconversation.Thisisbecausethecandidatesweregisterare matchedonwhattheywanttodoratherthanwhattheyapplyfor;thiswaywecanfind amuchbetterlong-termfit.

• Upon identifying the candidate’s suitability, we then conduct a second telephone interviewwhichismorespecifictothejobathand.Duringthisinterviewnotonlydowe presentourclientinthebestpossiblelight,butwefeelitisimportanttoproperlybrief the candidates on the vacancy and company. It is important that we match this with therealityofthejobroleandtheproblemsthatthecandidatemightface.

• If we find suitable candidates beyond this stage, we then ask them to come into the office for a face-to-face interview. This process may seem exhaustive; however, we believe this is necessary to get a complete feel of not only the candidate’s experience buttheirpersonalityandworkattitude.

Recently, we have been exhibiting at industry specific trade shows.This is not only to reinforce our brand awareness within the industry, but also to be on hand to offer advice for clients and candidates.

BRANDED ADVERTISING

We also offer branded advertising packages for all of our clients. This means all advertisingisdoneunderthe client’s name and brand but all the hard work and heavy-lifting is handled by us.

Each consultant at COREcruitment has a niche area that they work in, and within this niche area they are part of many different network groups. Consultants use these network groups to their advantage.

Consultants make a conscious effort to attend any relevant networking events, so when we say they know the industry inside out- they really do!Working within these niche areas also means consultantsare

constantlyworkingonsimilar roles. Therefore, consultants know as soon as they receive a vacancy who is available, who would be suitableandwhomayhavea referral.

Some of our top candidates are known as ‘passive candidates’ which means they are not actively looking but we always keep an eye out for them and contact them if any suitable rolescomeup.

One of our popular methods of attracting candidates is organising Open Days. Essentially they are an opportunity for potential members of staff to visit your business at one of your locations, interact with your team to further our understanding of your business.
