We invite your children to spend their summer at CAMP IDS 2025. This summer camp is staffed by Corbett Prep’s dynamic and highly skilled directors and counselors. For more than 25 years, CAMP IDS has provided extraordinary experiences in Sports, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Academics, Recreation, Language, and numerous STEAM options in an exciting and supportive environment. The campus is located on beautiful Lake Lipsey, providing an idyllic setting for a memorable summer experience.
Our camp is divided into six weekly sessions that run from June 9 through July 18, from 8:30 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. daily. Campers may participate in either full- or half-day camp sessions.
Included in the price of camp:
•Morning care from 7:45 - 8:30 a.m.
•CAMP IDS t-shirt for every camper!
•A great summer experience!
We offer bus transportation to and from camp for a weekly fee of $115 (bus stops located in New Tampa, South Tampa and Westchase). Extended Day is available in the afternoons from 3:15 - 5:30 p.m. for $75 per week for pre-registered campers.
Snacks and drinks are available daily for purchase at our CAMP IDS Warriors’ Oasis Cafe. For campers staying full day, there is a supervised lunch break between morning and afternoon camps.
Families will have two options for purchasing meals/snacks:
Option 1 - Campers can bring cash to purchase snacks and drinks as needed. Lunches are pre-order only.
Option 2 - Weekly lunches are available to purchase in CampSite for a $35 weekly fee. Please note that lunches must be purchased by the Wednesday prior to camp starting.

CAMP IDS Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I register my child/children?
A: Visit www.corbettprep.com/campids
Q: What are my payment options?
A: To guarantee your camper a place at camp, all camps must be paid in full upon registration.
Q: What is the CAMP IDS refund policy?
A: Prior to April 1, families may receive a 100% refund minus a $25 fee for each half- or full-day camp that is canceled. On or after April 1, there are no refunds for cancellations.
Q: How do I change my child’s camps?
A: For changes, please email the camp office at campids@corbettprep.com. When changing camps, families may apply their original payment to the balance of the new camp and will also pay a $25 change fee per camp. There is no change fee applied when changing to a camp that has become available from the waitlist.
Q: What will full-day campers do between their morning and afternoon camps?
A: Full-day campers have a supervised lunch/snack period between morning and afternoon camps.
Q: Is lunch provided?
A: Campers can bring their lunch from home. Pre-purchased lunches from Warriors’ Oasis Café are available for a weekly cost of $35. Lunches must be purchased through CampSite by the Wednesday prior to camp starting. Campers may bring cash to purchase snacks or drinks from Warriors’ Oasis Café daily. Students in full-day camps that travel offsite (Adventure Camp, Oars & Outdoors, Teen Rec, Warrior Games, and Wildscape Expeditions) will need to bring lunch from home. Purchased lunches are only available to students attending camps that remain at Corbett Prep.
Q: Is transportation provided?
A: Families can purchase weekly round-trip transportation for $115 per camper. Our stops are in New Tampa, South Tampa, and Westchase. Trips are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE on or after April 1, 2025.
Q: Do campers need to wear their CAMP IDS shirts every day?
A: All campers receive a complimentary CAMP IDS shirt during their first week of camp. Wearing the CAMP IDS shirt is optional. Our camp counselors wear their CAMP IDS shirts on Fridays, and we encourage campers to join us on those days! Additional shirts are available for purchase by calling or emailing the camp office.
Q: In which grade level are campers placed?
A: Specified grade levels are the grades that campers will be entering in the 2025-26 school year.
Q: What if I am late picking up my child from camp?
A: All campers picked up after 3:30 p.m. will be charged $20 for extended aftercare, which is offered until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Charges will be made to the card used during the camp registration process.
Q: What if I need extended aftercare for my child?
A: You may purchase extended aftercare for your child for $75 per week. This includes a snack and supervised play throughout our beautiful campus until 5:30 p.m. Daily extended aftercare is available for $20 per day, and registration takes place by phone. On or after April 1, 2025, all extended aftercare is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Viva la fiesta! This camp will spark an appreciation for diverse Latin cultures as campers dance, play games, and create crafts, having fun learning basic Spanish vocabulary and phrases. Camp Fiesta is an exciting and engaging introduction to the study of Español!

What if you were in a fairy tale? What if you could be a snowflake or even a pirate? Explore a variety of different topics as we read, imagine, build, design, and create to bring many subjects to life. Some topics will include fairy tales, pirates, snow, the ocean, and the rainforest. We are excited to see “What if...?”
Campers will be introduced to elements that make writing exciting and interesting enough to capture a reader’s attention. Campers will discover the skills needed to pen their best writing, discover their “voice,” and gain more confidence as authors. Campers will really get their dance on in this upbeat hip hop dance class! They will learn simple and fun hip hop choreography as well as today’s top trending TikTok dances. Campers of all skill levels will improve their moves! This high-energy camp is sure to boost campers’ creativity, coordination, and confidence as they hip hop to the beat!

In this multi-genre dance camp, we will look at different styles of dance: jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop. MUSICAL THEATRE: DISNEY’S DARE TO DREAM JR. Grades: (3-8)
Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr. is a musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help one other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible. Drawing from a century of beloved Disney films, Dare to Dream Jr. features songs appearing for the first time ever in a Disney stage musical, including fan-favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Encanto, and Frozen II. This musical revue mixes contemporary songs, timeless classics, and brand-new medleys that are sure to surprise and delight Disney lovers of all ages.

Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS is a musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his son Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. Lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, join Marlin and Nemo as they overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. Auditions for specific parts will take place the first day of camp, and students will perform at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 27.

Based on the smash DreamWorks movie, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure Jr. follows all of your favorite crack-a-lackin’ friends as they escape from their home in the Central Park Zoo and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the madcap world of King Julien’s Madagascar. Auditions will take place the first day of camp to assign specific roles, and students will perform at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 11.

Have you ever had the desire to write your own song, but needed to know where to start? We can help! In this camp, we will guide students through the songwriting process, from brainstorming and generating lyrics to creating melodies, selecting song styles, and learning chord progression. Students will write a group song, and then branch out to work on individual small group creations. No experience needed... just a desire to express yourself through music.
Every day is a new and exciting adventure when campers set out to experience some of the coolest places in the Tampa Bay area! Field trips may include visits to places like trampoline parks, bowling alleys, arcades, skating rinks, local beaches, and parks - and so much more! AMERICAN GIRL DOLL ADVENTURES Grades: (K-2)

Be fully prepared to get a paid babysitting job after you experience this camp! Practice infant/child safety, learn how to administer first aid and how to prepare for emergencies. This is the perfect camp for little elves who love the magic of Christmas!
Do your children enjoy helping in the kitchen? Take their skills to the next level! In this hands-on cooking camp, children will explore a variety of cuisines from around the world while learning to read recipes, measure ingredients, and be creative in the kitchen. Campers create a balanced menu each day and then enjoy the fruits of their labor.
Join us for a fun and relaxing week learning the basics of crochet and knitting! Perfect for beginners and young crafters, this hands-on camp introduces essential techniques, including basic stitches, and finishing touches. Campers will work on a special project to take home. All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own hooks and yarn in the colors of their choice. Ready to go back to simpler times when kids played games with a hoop and a stick? Ever wanted to learn how to make butter? Come join us for a week filled with pioneer crafts. From making beeswax candles to building miniature cabins, we will live like the pioneers did on the Oregon Trail. We’ll have lots of frontier-style fun with various games, crafts, and food activities.

Change reactive behaviors into creative solutions! This interactive fun-filled yoga class focuses on skills that will engage each camper’s mind and body, teaching them how to take their practice off the mat and into their daily lives. Mindfulness, movement, partner poses, breathing, focus, compassion, inner peace, and patience are just a few of the principles campers will practice.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Florida’s lakes and rivers, this action-packed camp is perfect for young adventurers eager to master the art of canoeing. Led by two expert American Canoe Association (ACA) certified instructors, paddlers will learn essential canoe strokes, water safety, and environmental stewardship. Each day brings thrilling on-water expeditions, where campers will navigate winding waterways, spot incredible wildlife, and build confidence with every paddle stroke. Dive into a vibrant experience celebrating the hottest trends in music, movies, TV shows, gaming, fashion, and social media. Whether you’re a fan of superheroes, the latest chart-topping hits, or viral challenges, this camp is for you! Throughout the week, campers will participate in creative workshops, themed activities, and engaging discussions about the ever-evolving world of pop culture. You’ll get to:
• Create a Superhero or Pop Star Persona: Design a character, backstory, and costume.

Teens and preteens will be on the go and challenged in this camp where every day holds new adventures! Campers can visit a variety of spots to enjoy activities such as rock climbing, laser tag, ice skating, horseback riding, movies, swimming at the beach, bowling, go carts, and more. If you love the great outdoors, this camp is for you. We’ll explore, fish, and learn wilderness survival skills such as how to set up a tent, navigate with a compass, and make a campfire, all from the picturesque banks of Lake Lipsey on Corbett Prep’s campus. Trailblazers’ campers may venture out to explore a local park, and bus transportation will be provided.

Teens and preteens will embark on daily adventures in this outdoor-focused camp that inspires exploration and connection with nature. Campers will enjoy activities such as hiking scenic trails, canoeing local rivers and lakes, zip lining through the trees, navigating outdoor ropes courses, and swimming at the beach. If you love the great outdoors and enjoy taking on new adventures, Wildscape Expeditions is the camp for you! Outdoor enthusiasts will feel energized as they explore Florida’s amazing landscapes, while participating in group challenges that foster teamwork and resilience. In this camp, student athletes will learn how they can build core strength, balance, stamina, flexibility, and range of motion through yoga. Pro basketball players Kevin Love and LeBron James and football stars Tom Brady and Ray Lewis include yoga as part of their training regimens. This camp will explore different styles of yoga and breathing techniques and how these practices can improve sports performance. Special guests will visit to introduce us to Acro-Yoga, Yin Yoga, and meditation! By harmonizing the mind, body, and breath, campers will increase their mental clarity and focus.
Campers learn proper archery range safety and techniques while aiming for the bullseye in this popular camp. We will use an archery range set up on campus. As the week progresses, campers will play archer games in groups. All equipment is provided.

During this camp, we will work on creating and strengthening the foundation for young ball players to fully enjoy the game of baseball. From the ground up, we will focus on complete skills development. We will not only focus on physical skills, we will also build knowledge of the rules and the mentality it takes to play this game at a high level. This camp will include basic fundamentals as well as building advanced skills for more experienced players.
Cheerleading is a high-energy sport that combines athleticism and creativity. Campers will build their personal and physical confidence as they learn new skills and understand the importance of being on a team. This camp covers fundamental cheerleading skills including chants, cheers, jumps, basic stunts, tumbling, and dancing. At the end of the week, cheerleaders will come together and perform as one amazing CAMP IDS cheerleading team! GO TEAM CAMP IDS!
Learn the fundamentals of the sport of football through friendly competition. Flag football gives young athletes the benefit of working as a team and stretching their physical limits. Players develop the essential skills necessary for 7 v 7. Scrimmage games will be a part of this activity as teams learn how to execute plays.
Gaga is a fast-paced sport played in an octagonal pit. Dubbed a kinder, gentler version of dodgeball, the game is played with a soft foam ball and combines the skills of dodging, striking, running, and jumping. Our camp offers a unique and focused experience, honing skills, agility, and teamwork through the love of the game. In addition to gaga ball matches, campers will have the chance to enjoy other classic summer activities, ensuring a well-rounded and unforgettable experience. Campers of all levels will go gaga over the non-stop gaga ball excitement!
GOLF Grades: (4-8)
Introduce your camper to the game of golf. We’ll focus on the basics of the golf swing, golf etiquette, and everything needed to play a round of golf. Each day we will visit local driving ranges and putting greens learning the fundamentals. Bus transportation is provided.
Learn the fundamentals of football through friendly competition in the air conditioning! Flag football gives young athletes the benefit of working as a team while stretching their physical limits. The camp will be led by Gracie Trinity coach Scott Pokorny, a black belt and gold medalist. We will focus on teaching basic Jiu Jitsu and grappling skills with games and activities centered around physical play, stretching for flexibility, and grappling techniques. Students should wear rashguards or snug-fitting athletic clothing and, as with all grappling sports, they can expect to have contact with others during the camp. The goal of this fun, highenergy camp is to introduce kids to the basics of Jiu Jitsu and help them develop their skills and techniques.
Weeks 1,2,3 Campers learn about the game of lacrosse and the basic fundamental skills associated with it: scooping, cradling, catching, throwing, shooting, game strategies, offense and defense skill sets. This is all achieved in a safe and enjoyable environment, utilizing soft-stick lacrosse principles (no-contact lacrosse) that do not require the use of protective equipment. Sticks and balls are provided. A willingness to learn and have fun are all that is required.

The Warriors Basketball Academy (WBA) is an organization that puts positive coaching and goal setting at its center. Campers will learn coding as they plan, design and create awesome, kid-friendly apps in this exciting camp! Kids will master the basic techniques of developing apps for Android devices, having the benefit of step-by-step instructions and explanations of the scripts they are writing. How many robots can one camp have? In this fun-filled STEM camp, campers will learn to program multiple robots including the iRobot Root Coding Robot and Sphero. Coding concepts include following commands, order of operations, and more. Hands-on mini challenges, games, and other exciting engineering activities will encourage exploration, imagination, and perseverance.
Budding filmmakers, get ready to produce your own clay animation movie! Working in teams, campers will create characters, sets, and storyboards, and they will choose music and animate their characters using stopmotion animation. By the end of the week, the movies and special effects will be compiled, edited, and ready for the premiere! Everyone will take home a digital copy!

Coding and programming is easy for young campers when they have hands-on tools that bring fun to learning. We’ll use special game boards and blocks designed for young learners to create the backgrounds and characters in our games. Then we’ll see our blocks transformed into games on our tablets! We’ll also use a program to control a robot that can draw, follow, or bounce off colors and lines, and even walk up walls.

Kids want to be prepared for success in our increasingly tech-driven world! Campers will learn the principles of computer programming as they use coding to create games, robots, animations, and other simple programs. Using popular interactive platforms such as Scratch and Code.org, everyone will have a blast learning to program in Coding Bootcamp!
Younger kids will become archaeologists, uncovering pretend dinosaur bones, mapping the grid, excavating the bones, and learning about the dinosaur back in the “lab.” They’ll create a wall-sized mural of their dinosaur in its habitat. Plus, the campers will document the whole Dino Discovery experience and take home a digital memory of their adventure!
Campers will use more advanced LEGO™ robotics and computer programming in this robotics camp. We’ll build motorized vehicles and humanoid robots. Using servos and sensors, campers will program their creations to “come alive.” STEM discoveries, innovation, and action come together for boys and girls in Advanced LEGO™ Robotics camp!

Get ready for an adventure of the digital kind! Younger campers will learn about mining and crafting and will have problems to solve during their adventure. This camp will use an in-house LAN, so the kids will not access the Internet, but they will all see each other in the world.
Guaranteed to be your kids’ new favorite sport! Campers will grow in confidence as they design, gear, and program a racing robot using LEGO Spike Prime. Engaging in the engineering design process, students will test and improve their racers throughout the week and show off their creations in a robot-to-robot race at the end of the week! Wrestling robots? Join us for this exciting summer camp where campers will use LEGO Spike Prime to build and program their own Sumo bots in preparation to battle it out in the ring. The Little Medical School
Little Medical School inspires young minds by sharing their passion for learning, health, and careers in medicine. Through hands-on activities, role-play, and interactive demonstrations, children will not only look like a healthcare provider, but feel like one, too, by using real medical tools. The full-day camp will also offer campers experience practicing first aid for emergency situations. This camp includes take-home items and products the students will use and create during different activities. These future marine biologists will work together to rescue, rehabilitate, and release a Leatherback Sea Turtle. Students will learn about different types of sea turtles and conduct an in-depth analysis of a plush sea turtle they receive. The camp culminates when campers act out a sea turtle release at a graduation ceremony that families are invited to attend. Campers will study vital organs to learn about common cat illnesses. Through role-plays, students will treat a sick and injured cat patient, learn how to reduce cat stress, and establish a proper living environment to keep pets happy and healthy. Create artwork in a fun environment using a variety of printmaking methods. Students will explore relief, mono-print and gelli prints to create prints that use expression, abstraction, and realism. Some prints will be transformed into mixed media.
