We will be recognizing Mrs. Delores McIntosh, the inaugural director whose vision and dedication helped found and establish Safe Inc. of Schenectady.
Join us at this year’s Garden Party fundraiser to support Schenectady County's only certified youth shelter. Your participation helps provide outreach, counseling, life skills training, and assistance to those at risk.
Tickets can be purchased electronically or by check. Checks are payable to Safe Inc. of Schenectady and mailed to 1344 Albany St., Schenectady, NY 12304 by May 1, 2025.
Ruby Anniversary
For 40 years, Safe Inc. of Schenectady has dedicated its services to combatting youth homelessness, exploitation, and human and labor trafficking in the Capital Region. As the first and only certified homeless youth shelter in Schenectady County, McIntosh House, our certified emergency shelter, provides immediate safety and essential resources for unhoused and runaway youth aged 16 to 20, guiding them toward long-term stability. In 2024 alone, Safe House sheltered 120 youth, and outreach efforts connected with 500 individuals in need.
Safe Inc. also offers a range of critical services, including counseling, life skills training, and housing assistance for individuals affected by or at risk of sexual exploitation and trafficking. ese life-changing services are made possible through the dedication of community members like you, ensuring that vulnerable youth and individuals impacted by trafficking receive the support they need to rebuild their lives.
