GAYLE PRINTZ
A WORLD MASTER ARTIST
Https://www.GaylePrintz.com
Gayle Printz picked up her first paintbrush in May of 2020 to reflect upon the beauty remaining in a world interrupted by the pandemic. Within two months her paintings were on exhibit in Europe and, by November of 2020, Printz’s artwork was added to the permanent collection of Le Musée de Peinture de Saint- Frajou in France. Printz’s distinctive style quickly established her work as a reference for the international art community. Reshaping the future of contemporary art, Gayle Printz, now a World Master Artist, is one of the most important contemporary artists of our time. Lining the walls of noteworthy art collectors and investors around the globe, Printz paintings rank among the most sought-after art investments in the world.
Printz paintings are currently on physical exhibit at prestigious internationally recognized art galleries around the world: Rome, Palermo, the United Kingdom and the United States. In addition to Solo Exhibitions—in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, the U.K and the U.S.—Printz’s artwork has been in major physical group exhibitions—including XX Giornata del Contemporaneo, an event in Florence, Italy, promoted by AMACI, the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums, the Tokyo Tower Art Fair in Japan, ArtExpo New York, Art San Diego, and Red Dot Miami. In 2025, you can find her work on exhibit in Dubai and Beijing.
Gayle has won fifty prestigious international Art Prizes—including The 2025 International Artist of the Year Award, The Future of Art Global Masterpiece Award, The Persona Art Honour, The International Prize Leonardo da Vinci, The International Art For Peace Prize, The Faces of Peace Art Prize, The Global Art Virtuoso Elite Artistic Career Achievement Prize, The Art Diamond Museum Artists Award, The International Voices of Tomorrow Art Prize, and The Harmony For Humanity Global Consciousness Art Prize. Four years in a row, Printz has been named one of the World’s Top Sixty Master Artists, a World Master Contemporary Artist, an International Contemporary Celebrity Master, A Top Contemporary Artist To Collect.
Of 100 leading international art publications showcasing her work, Gayle Printz is the Cover Artist of 25—including The Art Investment & Collectors’ Guide 2025: Most Investable and Prominent Artists, Master Artists To Collect, Current Masters 6 and 7, Great Abstractionists: Stories of Today’s Major Abstract Artists, Important World Artists 6, Contemporary Art Curator: 2025 Visionaries: Artists Shaping The Future, and Contemporary Celebrity Masters.
To experience a Modern Art Gallery in which every original painting is an international award winner, see Https://www. GaylePrintz.com. Gayle Printz is transforming previously established rules through her innate ability to seamlessly cross artistic genres—creating works ranging from abstract, modernistic, expressionistic, geometric, and post-impressionistic to paintings reminiscent of those created by the 19th Century Masters. Yet Printz will not refer to anyone else’s work when creating her own; she does not want her paintings to replicate the work of someone else. She finds it infinitely more fascinating—for all of us—to explore unfamiliar territory by creating what does not yet exist.
There is profound meaning within Printz paintings. But, because she believes the importance of any artwork is based upon the emotion it evokes, Printz will neither define that meaning nor intrude upon your journey to find what makes her paintings meaningful to you. Use your imagination as the lens through which to find significance, and Printz’s uniquely recognizable paintings will create an intrigue and value different from anything in the Art World. You will also find the magic for which Gayle is famous: Her paintings somehow change depending upon the angle of your gaze. For Gayle, this makes perfect sense: “ As with life, the meaning in my work depends upon the way you look at it .”
The groundbreaking talent of Gayle Printz is defined by the liberal use of unconventional colors, captivating threedimensionality, the deliberate yet unrestrained movement of brushstrokes to convey abstract concepts, and a palpable sense of artistic freedom. Unlike formally trained artists, who tend to use a specific themes, subject matters, or color-combinations across their bodies of work, Printz has created a modern art portfolio in which each painting differs in breadth, scale, and concept. Asked how she does this, Printz explains that, as an artist without training, she is unaware of the rules. “ And in a world without rules, the artistic possibilities are endless. ”
Gayle Printz is nothing less than inspiring. Exploring freedom of expression in an untraditional way helped her bring light to a darkened world. Now, by giving you the uninterrupted freedom to experience life in unanticipated ways, her paintings will summon you to find meaning in a world where the whispers of your imagination can never be wrong. For Gayle believes that, when you embrace the unfamiliar, there is a richness and tranquility that can fill your soul. And Gayle Printz hopes her paintings fill yours.

BENJAMIN FERRY

DANIEL YORK
Daniel Matthew York’s collection of figurative paintings, which he calls “Delusionism,” strip away the polished facades people hide behind, digging into raw emotions that we all have like fear, desire, and vulnerability. Fascinated by how people present themselves—how they wear masks, consciously or not, to fit in, hide parts of themselves, or become someone his paintings jolt you out of complacency, like someone shaking you by the shoulders and asking, “ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION?” HIs work is about impact, exploring themes of illusion, identity, and the struggle for authenticity in a world obsessed with appearances. Growing up outside of Chicago, Illinois, York is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee.

ERIKO KANIWA
sensegraphia.jp
Just as there are infinite gradations of light and shadow that make up the essence of photography, are there not also infinite forms that exist between living and non-living. Even today, there are many landscapes in Japan that symbolize the worship of nature. I am fondly proud of the values that have flourished within this natural context: the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic of imperfection and impermanence; the pursuit of subtle grace; the awareness that humans are part of nature and deeply intertwined with its dynamics, both consciously and unconsciously. I wonder if this philosophical culture, characterized by empathy with nature, evolved not first and foremost from the natural landscape itself, but rather from the contemplation and perspectives of those who viewed it. Sensegraphia is a conceptual redefinition of photography, using the visual aesthetics of digital art to develop and express the sense of nature that enables us to recognize that humans are part of nature and that we are centrally involved, both consciously and subconsciously, in the dynamics of nature. Through fine art, Sensegraphia proposes a philosophy and creative activities that restore the essential unity between man and nature, even in the context of today’s highly advanced science and technology.

FRANCE MALO
“ My art is based on the complex and dynamic life. My actual research on architecture put all my senses and creativity in alert… Art becomes adventure and evolution”. MALO’s artistic register depicts a contemporary vision of technological, environmental and sociological phenomena. At the age of fourteen, France Malo was selected by the Canadian and European artistic televisions to participate in four broadcasted creativity series. After her studies in different institutions and Universities: UdeMontreal, UQAM, UdeGeneve, UCLA… MALO had studios in California, NY and Quebec-Canada where she is actually working. Travels and observations in accordance to intuition, sensibility and experience are instigators for the ARCHITECTURES CONTEMPORAINES and CLIMATIQUES series. Graphically expressed by lines as links in non restricted neither traditional compositions, she investigates the movement of evolution. During this mentally and physically creative process, MALO makes the print of an alarm. In the ART SPORT series, the artist explores multiple aspects of human being in performance: efforts, achievement, energy, childhood, community, humanity, philanthropy, consciousness, balance between body and soul and security. Intronized official artist for Fédération Québécoise des Sports Cyclistes FQSC in 2016 and performer artist for more than 15 years in sports community, MALO had given herself the social mission to introduce art in sport and sport in art. For her artistic research in career developed over 45 years, MALO received numerous Honors and Grants and a Grand Master Title in Fine Arts by art associations. Her artworks found collectors around the world.

HANNE HOLDORF

Hanne Holdorf’s artistic journey is as captivating and unique as the art she creates. Hailing from Denmark, Hanne’s life has been marked by frequent moves, leading her to live in various corners of the globe. Each place she’s called home has left its indelible mark on her artistic expression, shaping and refining her creative voice. Amidst the challenges of adapting to new landscapes and forging connections, art has been Hanne’s unwavering companion, a source of expression, selfdiscovery and reflection. Now residing in a narrow valley nestled between the rugged mountain ranges of the Pyrenees, Hanne has embraced an unconventional lifestyle. The majestic mountainous landscape and the dramatic seasonal changes have profoundly influenced her art. Hanne’s artistic expression is a celebration of the natural world’s beauty and mystery. Her paintings are rich in nuance, form, and texture, exploring the intricate interplay between light, shadow, and atmosphere. Through her art, Hanne seeks to connect viewers with something deep within—an archaic sense often dormant or suppressed. She aims to awaken ancestral emotions of belonging, fostering a profound sense of connection and being part of something greater. Driven by inspiration, Hanne’s work provokes introspection, creating gentle pathways that speak to the subconscious. Her art aims to soften the barriers to our suppressed knowledge, as she believes that within these barriers lies our ability to truly connect and understand one another. ´The marks we leave; a reflection of our search for soul and clarity. Eventually it all connects´

IRIS FLUIDISM
irisfluidism.com
FLUIDISM is the most important moment in my artistic career. It is the essence of what I am. It is all about fluidity. Everything flows. Fluidity belongs to the human being, is in our biological composition and in the composition of our society in which we all are immersed. It is about a strong communication system with its own language and infinite ways of expression. It is about a reality that finds and elaborates its nature in the liquid state of things. We are immersed in it and we are carried away by the flow of eternal becoming.
FLUIDISM is a concept through which I express my artistic creed in works of art, inspired by the existence of a complex substance of outstanding properties and qualities – WATER.
WATER is a unique and indestructible substance.
WATER is the basis of life, growth and change.
WATER has the ability to regenerate continually.
WATER soothes and heals.
WATER shows understanding and sensitivity.
WATER is an accomplished artist.
WATER is the most important element on the planet, can be found in 70% of our earth and in the same proportion in the bodies of humans, animals and plants – sometimes even in a larger quantity.
I have chosen to use the seven colors of the rainbow and the shades obtained by combining them in all of my artworks.

JOEL DOUEK
lmnt.art
Joel Douek began his career in the arts as a composer. After writing music for film and television over many years, he felt compelled to express himself in a broader way, and thus his path as a visual artist emerged. Douek was born in the United Kingdom and now lives and works in Los Angeles. He is also co-founder of EccoVR, a sound and music company dedicated to virtual reality and new forms of immersive media. Douek’s range extends from music and the virtual sphere to his aptitude for manipulating real and raw materials, often with gold and metal leaf. His artistic career is an exploration of creative analogies, often testing the equivalences in purpose and expression between art and music. Douek is fascinated in materials with a history, like weathered metals and reclaimed woods. Rather than using paints and conventional techniques, he explores the deeper potential of his mediums using processes of oxidation to reveal colors, textures, and other properties. Embodied in his approach is the sharing of authorship, a creative conversation between nature, the materials and himself as the artist. Douek has exhibited in many different countries and has also won awards in various competitions like ArtVista and the Fusion Waterscapes Competition. His work resonates precisely because its message is subtly delivered through a concretely honed aesthetic.

JULIE WAAS
Julie Reby Waas has been creating abstract drawings for as long as she can remember. It was only during the isolating, stressful time of the Covid pandemic, however, that she began turning her original designs into artwork. She felt a desire to bring joy into her life and the lives of others through creative expression, using bright acrylics & watercolors to create compelling patterns to stimulate the viewer’s spontaneous reaction to each one of her pieces. Her geometric shapes and patterns serve as a way to bring order to her sometimes disordered life, and Ms. Waas identifies three recurring symbols in her work: vines, Venn diagrams, and jigsaw puzzle-like designs. To Ms. Waas, these symbols represent friendship, connection, common ground, and fragments coming together to create a bigger picture, which all relate to her belief that everything and everyone is interrelated in some way, and when we come together in friendship and strength we create a beautiful tapestry. Ms. Waas is a resident of Miami, Florida. In addition to creating art, she also is a labor and employment lawyer and a Certified High Performance Coach for midlife & empty nester women. She exhibits work in galleries in New York, London, Madrid, Marbella, Innsbruck and Miami, and is influenced by other geometrically-inclined predecessors like Piet Mondrian and Joan Miró. Her style is certainly her own flavor of bold and unique, successfully achieving her goal of bringing happiness and enthusiasm to each one of her viewers.

MARI KEMPF
Born in Berlin in 1987 and raised on the countryside in northern Germany, Mari Kempf is characterized by two very different worlds in which different rules apply. Even though acrylic painting crossed her mind in her youth already, it only recently became an integral part of her life. Mari Kempf is 100 percent autodidact and loves exploring new techniques, tools and materials. She conceives art as a form of meditation that nurtures her personal development and growth. The aspect that matters most to her is the process of creation itself. Often it starts with just one element that comes to mind which then triggers the whole journey of artistic expression whereby the result is a unique manifestation mirroring a specific emotional state in one moment of Mari Kempf’s life. With recent exhibitions in iconic cities like New York, Milan, London and Paris, Mari Kempf is swiftly rising on the international art scene and establishing herself as a vital voice in contemporary art. Today she lives and works in Hamburg, Germany.

I enjoy painting flowers, real joy I find in mixing colours and creating organic shapes and patterns. In my artworks I like to experiment. It satisfies me to explore new painting techniques. NADIYA JINNAH

I was born in Africa of Indian origin. I acquired undergraduate, graduate and a fellowship in Painting and sculpture from London’s Royal College of Art, England. I now live in New York City. Sculpting my paintings on a clay surface is a unique process I created to give me a complex dimensional texture. While transferring this image to its final phase allows me to experience the mirror image of each piece. This private glance at the duality of its existence is something I cherish. I thrive at exploring the Earth and its elements, the Cosmos with its infinite space, and humanity experiencing the energetic and magnetic shift of the quantum field. My goal is to translate this amazing shift that I deeply feel into a form of physical expression. Therefore, each piece has a life of its own and a message beyond the mind, filled with a passion of wanting to connect to dimensions beyond oneself and within oneself. This wanting is to reach the place of Knowing rather than understanding. I have exhibited worldwide including Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair in Turkey, the Florence Biennale in Italy, the World Trade Center, Beijing, China, Osaka Matsuzakaya Gallery, Japan, Estense Castle, Ferrara, Italy, Gallery De Marchi, Bologna Italy, Hammond Museum, North Salem, NY and private, corporate and public collections including the Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, AT & T Conference Center, Montclair State University, and Heublein Inc., among many https://www.njinnah.com/

‚Art is a daughter of freedom‘ Friedrich Schiller
Born close to Nuremberg, Germany Petra Dippold-Goetz grew up in the city of Albrecht Dürer and has always been under the spell of this fascinating artist. To improve and refine her techniques she studied Fine Arts at the Academy of Faber Castell from 2014 to 2018. Since 2019 she was invited to exhibitions and art fairs in several parts of Europe like Vienna, Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Florence and even New York and Tokyo. Her works are emotional, intuitive, evocative and passionate. And the statements are different: with some pictures she just wants to express a passionate joy about the beauty of life and the beauty of art. Other works have a socio-political background. They want to warn and awaken: the destruction of our planet and the extinction of so many animals for commercial purposes must be stopped! Our most important goal must be to pass on this wonderful planet to future generations intact and worth living in.

Her artworks have been on display in galleries around Finland since the year 2000 and internationally since 2020. She is a full – time artist. I am interested in – and inspired by – the human being and the never-ending complexities of life. In art it is possible to deal with all the questions and concepts in a more intuitive way. When I was young, I thought I would grow up to be a painter. At first, I mainly worked with oil paint on canvas, but now I also use mixed media. My Paintings and poems are inner images. I don´t plan them; they emerge from inner need. They can sometimes be the same. Layers, textures and metaphors playing together, creating meaning in varying degrees of abstraction.

ROBERTO BOCCHINI
trasposismi.it
Never totally fulfilled, never completely satisfied, Roberto Bocchini (Trasposismi) witnesses a constant research performed on forms, on the distortion of them so much as to generate new boundaries. Introspective, shadowy, restless, his character leads him to continuous experimentation. His unquenchable investigation of materials led him as a teenager to the darkroom with photographic papers and coloured toning. Multiple slides on corroded and unusual surfaces, up to the painting of old objects. Pieces of old failed computers were burned, cut, deconstructed to reveal a source (atomic) form, totally different from the primary element. There is a foundational element in his production that runs through almost all of his works, viz. photographic texture and photography. Roberto Bocchini has never been particularly fond of the figurative painting genre, so he has always repurposed a personal vision of alternative identity. Using his images, fused with multiple drawing techniques, he induces a profound abstract process of reconstruction and contamination, aimed in some cases, even at showing the artist’s more tormented side. Over the years he studied composition and colour psychology. Born in Rimini (Italy) in 1965. Since 2018, he has presented several solo exhibitions in Italy, received an international prize and numerous awards.

TOM ASHBOURNE SSC SCA OSA
Captivated by form and shape, Canadian sculptor Tom Ashbourne SSC SCA OSA is inherently invested in sculpture as his preferred medium for expressing life through art. In his words “I’ve been collecting and appreciating art for most of my life. My transition from corporate executive to professional artist started with learning about fine art while building my extensive and varied art collection. My skills and knowledge grew with encouragement from mentors, artist friends, patrons, and experiences in my studio, and . Over time I’ve developed and matured my artistic eye, sense of balance, and appreciation of design, texture, shapes, and color.” Thoughtfully transforming raw stone and found objects into elegant art, Ashbourne’s powerful sculptures communicate positivity, energy, and inclusiveness, bonding your emotions to his artistic vision. Through abstract reductivity and simplified lines, Ashbourne masterfully straddles the boundaries between fantasy and reality. His innate curiosity, inspiring artistic vision, and natural gift of thinking in 3D flow into his passion for texture and form.

Anne-Marie Giroux lives and works in Montreal. She holds a BFA degree from Concordia University and has been awarded several grants (Canada Council for the Arts, Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, National Film Board of Canada, Prim Centre d’Artistes). Giroux is an independent visual artist who has primarily worked in the creation of multidisciplinary choreographic works integrating contemporary dance, sculpture, film, video and sound in the same scenic space before focusing her practice in the visual arts. Using traditional mediums as well as found and recycled material, her work concentrates on projects that manifest themselves through the relationship she seeks to establish between the practices of painting, sculpture and installation. Giroux is interested in the poetic expression which, prior to the pictorial or sculptural work, enables her to lay the foundations for formal explorations to then metamorphose the matter by exploiting raw material through an intuitive and spontaneous process. Her work is the result of a poetic observation of time and wear. She focuses on the inescapable. Since 2013, she has participated in exhibitions in the United States, Canada, Switzerland and South Korea. In 2019, she was one of the finalists for the Salt Spring National Art Prize competition in British Columbia. In 2021 she was selected “Artist to Watch” by Berlin magazine ArtConnect. Canadian artist Antoine Khanji honed his signature painting style of obsessive vivid colors, elusive symbols and diagrams, and different painting styles that blend harmoniously with current era. Antoine drew his subjects with a very strong accent on bright colors which is represented in most of his artistic work. His Middle Eastern heritage was the primary cause of using such strong primary colors. Luminous colors reflect the direct influence of dry and hot summers. Antoine’s early work was critiqued and mentored by Artist Elias Zayat, arguably one of the most significant Syrian artists of the 20th century’, back in 1976. Antoine’s first oil painting exhibition was at the Caisse Populaire Desjardins in Lennoxville, Quebec, Canada while he was studying at Bishops’ University. BAIBA ABELITE
abelite.art
A Visionary of Contemporary Art and Technological Discourse Baiba Abelite’s body of work is nothing short of remarkable. Her artistic vision transcends traditional boundaries, blending geometry, abstraction, and technology to create a uniquely contemporary narrative. What sets Baiba Abelite apart is her capacity to distill complex ideas about society, technology, and the self into works that resonate on both an intellectual and emotional level. Her art transcends the canvas, creating immersive experiences that challenge the viewer to question their place in an increasingly digital world. The philosophical undertones in her works-whether exploring the digital fragmentation of the universe or the monstrous effects of technological overreach-make her a vital voice in contemporary art. Baiba Abelite is not only an artist of significant technical skill but also one of great conceptual depth. Her ability to bridge the past with the present, and to challenge the viewer’s perception of reality, positions her as a pivotal figure in the contemporary art scene. Her work offers a critical commentary on the nature of progress, the relationship between humanity and technology, and the evolving role of art in society. Baiba Abelite’s art doesn’t just belong to this moment-it is timeless, weaving together the threads of history, technology, and human emotion into a tapestry that reflects the complexities of the modern world. She is, without a doubt, a name that will continue to resonate in both the artistic and philosophical realms of contemporary culture.

BERNARD PINEAU
I was born a Catholic Christian in 1951 in France, in a small mid-sized town: Royan, located by the sea at the mouth of the Gironde River, 120 km above Bordeaux. Fortunately, apart from baptism, my parents did not impose anything on me, and I grew up in complete freedom. I grew up mostly alone, without much family around me. As a child, I recall having a strong spiritual appetite, which only grew over time. As a result, I devoured numerous books focused on spirituality, wisdom, religions, and also painting. My two passions—spirituality and painting—were born and would accompany me throughout my life. At the same time, I pursued higher education at an engineering school. I started painting around the age of 18 and continued for about three years. However, professional and material obligations prevented me from continuing. At the age of 58, I decided to dedicate myself to painting because I was finally able to do so financially. In 2014, with my first studio in Aigrefeuille, I began an intense professional painting activity. A strong YANG period had become essential and vital for me. In 2016, I moved into my second studio in Mortagne-sur-Gironde, a charming little shepherd’s hut. Since 2021, my third studio has been located in Vallières. My paintings are numbered chronologically to remind viewers that they represent a journey and a kinship. Each painting is a voyage or a thought; it is named and commented on. I hope that each painting can carry a benevolent energy.
BIRGIT KALKOFEN
pepponi.de
Working in tourism since 1970, I lived overseas and travelled around in Europe, America, Asia and Africa (11 years in Kenya). The last 22 years I lived in Palma de Mallorca / Spain and since 2015 I’m back in Germany. I started painting as a child and meanwhile painting art is my passion, my most favorite hobby. With mostly strong colors I’m able to express my various impressions and ideas, which cool me down and relax. I’m autodidact – of all tried out materials I prefer painting with acrylics and especially on wood. I get inspired by everything, what is surrounding me – art, books, culture, traditions, pictures, textiles, exhibitions, events, colors, light, sea, beach, sunrise and sunset, animals, landscapes, seasons, nature, plants and flowers, daily news – the list is neverending. Travelling such a lot left its marks on my art. Especially the colors and the smell of Africa and Asia are deeply in my memory. My pictorial language mainly consists of a figurativeness reduced to the essential into which I ornamental transfer very harmonious forms. This is completed by my abilities of applying glowing colors. By achieving a correlation of abstract and figurative forms and color I’m able to give my work of art some sensual attractivity. The portrayal of perspectives and mostly the strong expression of bright colors are my trademark. Being commented and complimented by friends, family and people around me, in the past years my colorful paintings have found some admirers. Great fun I had with the illustrations that I was able to create in 2017 for a children’s book (“Toni on a journey of discovery and other exciting animal stories”). My artworks – Pepponi Art - are now part of private collections worldwide, such as Germany, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, India and Australia.

I started out as a graphic artist, got interested in making animated movies in middle and high school, shifted over to live action movies (this was in the golden age of super-8 home-movie film), developed a particular interest in cinematography (an otherwise largely-forgotten film of Ingmar Bergman’s called, “The Touch,” was a particular inspiration); then in college I saw a print of Edward Steichen’s famous photograph of the Flatiron Building and it’s been photography ever since.
COR FAFIANI
corfafiani.com
Cor Fafiani creates mysterious, multi-sensorial, perfect and almost metaphysical works of art. He plays with different materials and colours, and yet his art is never a pure aestheticism, but rather a code through which he can communicate his own ideas. He is, in fact, both an artist and a philosopher, and as such, he guesses the most inner selves of human beings, he reaches our onthological essence. Nevertheless what is more disquieting for the observer of his works is the absolute lack of answers or points of reference, so that what is left is the doubt, the unsolved problem of the existence. That void can be filled only by Art, and that’s the only certainty Cor Fafiani seems to voice in his works. Dott. Nadine Giove
DAN TERRY
National award winning artist, Dan Terry (1951- ) loved the arts from early childhood, inspired by Disney’s Fantasia. Seeing Michaelangelo’s Pieta at eleven inspired a passion for the Renaissance masters. Terry echoed DaVinci’s curiosity for art, science, engineering and nature. Rembrandt, Monet & the Impressionists were strong influences. Despite early recognition and national first place awards in painting and animation, employment in printing and museums, plus college, then teaching (in Journalism) took precedence over painting until his late 40s, when his talents led to work in the film and television industries. Starting in his fifties corporate and museum commissions for murals took off. He’s created over 200 such murals throughout Texas since, only again taking up fine art when most are enjoying retirement. Much of his early work was lost in a fire, then a flood, but his more mature visual voice merging influences of Monet with a modern design aesthetic retaining classical techniques. His recent work focused on raising awareness of humanity’s disconnect with nature and the environment has found interest with galleries and exhibitions. He is represented by Global Visions Contemporary Gallery in Houston, TX and Art for the People Gallery in Austin, TX and is in the permanent collections of the Witte Museum and Museum of Art in San Antonio and at the Alamo historic site.
DEBORRA MARSHALL BOHRER

My early career was devoted to the field of contract design. The perfect combination of art and business. I loved space planning for the restaurants, hospitals, banks, and offices. Then the fun part of adding texture and color to the interiors. In hindsight my largest canvases! But then I studied intensely with two well known artist in the Northwest and once I put a paint brush in my hand 25 years ago there was no turning back…. I am originally from Kansas City and learned to appreciate the natural world on my grandfather’s farm. Many memories inform my creativity today. Sitting by the creek weaving its way through the hollow of the trees, chasing fireflies with the silhouette of the dark Oak trees against the starlit sky, reading a book on the back of my horse as he wandered aimlessly eating the rich grasses under the glorious thunderclouds of rose, purple, yellow, and green. I divide my time between Sun Valley and Boise Idaho. Having lived in Sun Valley for 31 years, raising my sons, I have a deep love for the wilderness and the wildness of the mountains.....truly awe inspiring! I treasure sharing the magical world of delightful journeys through my paintings. Many of them inspired by my favorite poems or when I experience my own adventure with the shape of words. I am currently the President of the non profit Boise Open Studios Collective Organization. I believe in the power of giving back and I thrive on watching the evolution of collaborations and creativity. My past leadership experiences in the non-profit world are varied; from taking a rubble parking lot in a dying downtown and transforming it into an urban park and gathering space, to the transformation of the community approach towards clean energy, to the elevation of theater in the local high school and participating in the evolution of a local theater company into a performing arts center. And now I have the privilege of encouraging the professionalism, knowledge, and value of art in the collective whole of the Boise/Treasure Valley community. I am grateful for this opportunity.
DESPINA KYRIACOU
My artistic journey began in my youth, fostered by an innate interest in drawing and keen interest in my surroundings. This early fascination most probably laid the groundwork for my vision for the future. My vision is rooted in the abstraction and semi-abstraction of my subject matter. My photographic compositions are explorations of environments, whether they be fragments of a seascape or aspects of urbanization. I delve into the intricate relationships between color, light and elements of humanity, bridging the gap between us and the natural world. The viewer is encouraged to engage deeply into my work, to discern the subtle interplays and connections that weave into each piece. The approach reflects my influences from diverse artistic mediums and figures like Georgia O’Keefe and Paul Klee, whose vibrant, abstract styles resonate in my own work.

GIORGIO GOST

GIORGIO GOST AFTER… How many artworks witness of thousand of artists that lived in last centuries are not arrived to us? How many famous artists for a period were then forgotten by the art market and by the collectors with the change of the type of artistic expression? How many have been forgotten due to the generational change with different interests? (Rarely we continue to collect artworks of artists collected by our father or by our grandfather)…. Giorgio Gost since year 2014 tries to “save” the images that we have seen in our life from decades putting all around transparent resin used for industrial floors that in this case is not pressed by humans or industrial machines, is not exposed at rain and snow but, being hanged at the wall, they think can have a very long duration without needs of maintenance and restoration works that could be in many cases impossible for needs of money… Here we have the friendly images as the cuts on canvas that become After Fontana (objects and concepts they will remember in the year 6.000 even though the original ones will not exist anymore) the alphabetic letters become After Boetti , the can of Campbell’s Soup become After Warhol, the famous Shit become After Manzoni, the Metaphisic Piazza d’Italia become After De Chirico, and then After Vasarely, Halley, Modigliani, Balla, Botero, Hopper, Mondrian, Magnelli, Burri, Scheggi, Perilli, Dorazio, Biasi, Man Ray, Jeff Koons etcetera… and the original arftworks by Piero Gilardi, Sara Campesan, Lorenzo Piemonti, Massimo Salvadori, Bernard Aubertin, Alfredo Rapetti, Antonio Corpora, Costalonga, … and, with a little irony, we arrive at After Giorgio Gost too… This is a very strong picture of our age too, that they will remember in the future with these “time capsules”

GORAN MAKESKI
makeski.art
Since my childhood I was artistically accompanied by my father who was an academic artist. The painting process crystallized in my own art-style, nowadays recognizable as Makeski ART. Characteristic of my work is the harmony of form, color and graphic- linear elements. I would especially mention that my painting medium is the high-quality photo paper, on which the color gets the highest luminosity. The need to express myself artistically gives me the opportunity to let go and let my feelings run free. My artwork emerges from many different ways of expression and they are reflections of my emotional experiences and my mood in the very moment of artistic creation. While examining my paintings I feel as if more and more resonances emerge. When I practice such intuitive art of painting I experience a kind of encounter with my self and many paintings are created out of this emotion. If you find my pictures attractive or if you feel touched and inspired by them, then you are close to me. Thank you for stopping by

KAREN BJERG PETERSEN
Karen Bjerg Petersen’s passion for art was nurtured in the natural beauty of her childhood surroundings, a landscape that seems to have embedded itself into her artistic DNA. Growing up near the studio of Emil Nolde, she was deeply influenced by the vivid, expressive use of color and the interplay between light and shadow that defined his work. But Petersen does not merely emulate; she reimagines these principles within her own distinct language. In her canvases, the boldness of color is not just an aesthetic choice but a mode of communication —a means of expressing emotions and ideas that words cannot convey. Living in the landscapes that inspired Emil Nolde, Bjerg Petersen absorbed the vibrant tones of her surroundings, from dramatic skies to the ephemeral glow of sunrise and sunset. Karen Bjerg Petersen’s artworks represent a profound synthesis of color, emotion, and form, rendering her a vital presence within the contemporary art scene. Her works evoke a sense of ethereal wonder while challenging the boundaries of abstraction and perception. Through her bold use of color, dynamic forms, and introspective philosophy, Petersen’s art transcends the conventional constraints of Abstract Expressionism and opens a portal into deeply meditative landscapes. Each piece is a testament to her ability to communicate the ineffable—emotions, memories, and the pulse of nature—all while pushing the conversation forward in the ever-evolving world of contemporary art. Karen Bjerg Petersen’s abstract compositions are a poetic exploration of the interplay between light and shadow, reality and memory. Rooted in the tradition of Abstract Expressionism, her canvases exude a remarkable vitality that stems from her innate understanding of color and texture. One of Petersen’s most compelling contributions to contemporary art is her exploration of geometric abstraction. In works such as “Cinderella’s Shoe”, Petersen employs strong, defined shapes that interlock and juxtapose in a dance of tension and harmony. Karen Bjerg Petersen’s art is a testament to the enduring power of abstraction in an age dominated by rapid technological and cultural shifts. Her work asks us to slow down, to observe, to feel. It challenges us to find meaning not in fixed narratives but in the spaces between, in the textures, the colors, and the subtle interplay of forms. She bridges the personal and the universal, the local and the global, creating works that resonate on multiple levels.

André Breton describes Surrealism as ‘psychic automatism in its pure state’. For decades Riha has been experimenting with this automatic painting technique, unaware of being a modern-day Surrealist. The self-taught artist drew encouragement from a Québécois resplendent anarchistic art movement called ‘Les Automatistes’. Their unacademic, ‘total refusal’ approach to art provided Riha with a home in art history. Experimentations with all types of mediums include a long fascination with oils on canvas - a symbolic period filled with therapeutic releases, inner and outer travel logs and first screams in color. The ‘colorDrops’ series from 2014 mark the beginning of the artist’s abstract works. This current period includes socio-political pieces about liberty, tolerance, ecocide, division and unity. Marco Riha has been published in several international art magazines and his work has been shown worldwide, in venues like the Saatchi and FOLD Gallery in London, the Rome Art Week, Arte Bratislava Castle in Slovakia and most recently at the Fondazione Palmieri in Lecce, Italy with Primo Piano LivinGallery, one of the leading galleries in Southern Italy..

MICHAEL KAPHENGST
michaelkaphengst5.wixsite.com/linearismus
“I am of the opinion that it is not possible to escape a “linear process”. For me the world of consumption is not “POP” but a linear process. After all,our hole life is oriented towards consuming, and this leads to the most impossible ( surreal ) everyday situations”. Michael Kaphengst counters the linear sensory overload with consumer goods with his “consumptive surrealism”. In contrast to POPART, he creates surreal Picture worlds with his consumer goods and assigns them a new artistic task. In his style “absolute linearism”, he gives straightforwardness no chance. The Artist draws lines across a canvas with an attached brush at the top of a rapier, and with the mobility of the blade he thus also creates his own physical automatism.
MICHAEL KOPPLSTÄTTER
michael-kopplstaetter.com
Michael Kopplstätter is a German, Austrian self-taught artist who lives and works in Dornbirn and Schwarzenberg, Austria. His artistic career began early in New York, where he became close friends with the artist Salome, co-founder of the Neue Wilde. Michael Kopplstätter was infected by the spontaneous and expressive elements of the Neue Wilde at a young age. Kopplstätter was born in Hohenems, Austria, and studied architecture in Innsbruck before switching to fashion studies. He made a career in the fashion and design industry and worked as a designer, art director and creative director before returning to painting. The artworks, mostly painted in oil, are mainly large scale canvas. Today, the artist has created his own signature style by working through partial blurring between static and blurred planes that leave a vague sense of what lies beneath the surface. Perception and distortion merge together. A distorted reality emerges between frozen space and time, what was and what will be. On the surface, the works appear to be an intoxicating vision of exhibitionism and existentialism, to the point of voyeuristic traits, but intimacy and the unknown are exposed in an independent, artificial way. His unmistakable color palette strikes a chord of desire, control and loss control. The protagonist hovers between abstraction and distorted reality, remaining blurred, shadowy and distorted in a frozen time and space. The thematic focus of his works is the human figure, although the work remains enigmatic and creates a palpable tension between abstract forms, realism and a distorted reality. Each brushstroke confirms his passion to the artistic craft. His paintings engage a diverse audience in a dialog that goes beyond the visual. In addition to solo and group exhibitions in Europe and gallery presentations, his works have been shown in a museum exhibition. His paintings have been shown for exhibitions during the Venice Biennale, Art Basel Miami and Art Basel Paris. His art is represented in various collections. Publications have appeared in various international specialist magazines and books.

Her creative journey unfolds in the vibrant city of Vienna, where she resides and diligently hones her craft. These innovations allow him the ability to assemble images in new and utterly unexpected ways. Though rooted in a traditional photographic representation of reality, the images, when combined with other elements such as color, texture and varied opacities, allow for a new visual language, a thrilling interaction with the viewer. Vega’s projects are often born out of serendipitous encounters rather than preconceived plans, highlighting his belief in the power of the unexpected to fuel creativity. Vega’s new work flips back and forth between and the rigors of representation and the liberating ambiguity of abstraction. The result is intellectually challenging that could not have existed in an earlier time.

A Journey of Inspiration: Resilience, Creativity, and Artistic Expression every texture, every choice of medium carries within it the echoes of my life’s challenges, triumphs, and spiritual awakening. My journey is about art. My art is a reflection of my life—a testament to resilience, creativity, and the profound depths of human expression. It speaks to not only my personal spiritual journey but also my triumph over challenges such as Marfan Syndrome. The surgeries and obstacles I faced in my youth have added layers of depth and meaning to my work, allowing it to transcend mere aesthetics and connect with the soul. My creative process often flourishes in the quiet solitude of nighttime, a time when my mind feels most alive and attuned to inspiration. In the 1980s, I experienced three profound out-of-body experiences (NDEs) that permanently altered my perception of reality. These moments reshaped my understanding of existence as an organic, carbon-based being on Earth. They instilled in me a deep appreciation for the present moment and the intricate interconnectedness of life, enriching my work with purpose and depth beyond the ordinary. Each piece I create is imbued with this transformative journey. It is not merely art but a narrative—a visual and tactile embodiment of my raison d’être, my reason for being. My work invites viewers to engage with it, not just with their eyes but with their hearts and minds, creating a shared experience that resonates on a deeply human level.
Up, 2023. Acrylic on canvas, 50.8 x 50.8 cm.
artworkarchive.com/profile/rita-schoonmaker
My primary approach is abstraction expressionism. With each new work the creation process is an attempt to convey either feelings or an impression of the natural world. I work by searching for a balance between what appears to be totally accidental and spontaneous. I take what I have chosen to motivate me beyond representational and into the sense of what what each piece means to me at the time of creation. With each new work, the creative process is a search for the right combination of line, the right color choice, and the movement to bring an impression to fruition. I will explore themes sufficiently to draw out fresh expressions, to draw out new challenges. This approach ensures variety to help keep me intellectually engaged in my artistic explorations. At times I will have totally disparate concepts working simultaneously for balance, visually and mentally, while searching through each piece, finding the various colors and forms appropriate for each one. I am always aware of color relationships, and how colors can convey certain feelings. As a student of the concepts of color theory as written in books by Joseph Albers and Hans Hoffman, I am selective in my color choices with the evolving image.

SOTARO TAKANAMI
From January 11 to February 26, 2024, I held a retrospective exhibition at the Takashimaya Archives Museum in Osaka. The media coverage was extensive, and I was grateful for the large number of visitors who came to see my work. In Japan, just as I felt I had reached a turning point within myself, receiving this introduction from This Book has been incredibly fortuitous and greatly appreciated. I believe I will continue painting until the moment I die. In my twenties, I experienced friendship, respect, passionate love, music, aestheticism, intense darkness, anxiety, illness, death, conflict, and anger. During that time, I felt a connection to God and had new discoveries every day. It was a stimulating, free, and happy period. As time flowed like wind pushing clouds, I realized that those moments were unique to that time—my youth. Since then, while being haunted by memories of those enjoyable times, I have continued to paint. Even if I paint a hundred or a thousand pieces, each one surpasses past memories and gives me a sense of a new, first-time experience and a zest for life. For me, painting is like water in a desert, quenching my thirst under the scorching sun. Whether I live to paint or paint to live, I constantly ask myself. The mysteries within my paintings are ones I probably won’t solve even if I live for another hundred years. Every day, I hold my brush at a set time, hoping to get closer to those answers, even if just a little, in my remaining time.

THOMAS MORGAN
thomasmorganphotography.com
Thomas Morgan began his journey as a photographer much like many of his peers: with a camera passed down or gifted. It wasn’t anything extravagant—just a practical, reliable tool with quality glass and simple operations. For Morgan, it was a Yashica-MAT 124G, acquired during the camera’s final years in production. Even then, it was something of an oddball relic, as most of his contemporaries had already embraced the convenience of 35mm. But Morgan has always been—and remains—rebellious. To Morgan, his cameras are more than tools; they’re extensions of his inner dialogue, a means to bring his vision into focus. He composes as he shoots, often reflecting on the ever-accelerating pace of life. “It’s a fast-moving world,” he says, “but through my constant pursuit of photographic excellence, I’m able to notice the details, the stories, and the drama in the stillness between stoplights. I’ll always keep shooting. Most of the pictures won’t be great, but the ones that make it through—those, I hope, will transcend and become true photographs.”
TILMANN KRUMREY
Born 1966 in a family of artistic personalities and a strong bauhaus heritage (hfg ulm). First artistic impulses as a child of 7 in the studio of his great aunt, a professional sculptor. Studies history of art, impresses with brilliance and switches to economics half way through: Krumrey is driven by a deep wish of altering our in-human post-capitalist, war-driven, naturedestroying society and expects the tools in finance and in business. At 30 a journey through Greece produces a turn: Krumrey embarks on a dialogue with classical figure and makes the human form subject of his creative endeavor. First studio in Lower Bavaria, working in parallel in internet consulting business. Krumrey directs the course of his company to venture capital, still memorizing his old dream of altering society by altering decisions in finance. Instead, he looses track on his art and grows inner tension, realizing hat this is not the right path: “within finance” creates a failure, another “from within” is needed. For his mission he gets back at work into his studio on a full time basis: changing society from “within consciousness” by the power of art. Krumrey realizes that built space (architecture) and body (corpus or sculpture) is complementary, like hand and glove i.e. The interaction of space and body unfolds spontaneously, is always unconsciously present and influences emotional condition and feeling. Therefore he builds immersive “theatre stages” for sculptures, where all senses – by acoustics, light, temperature, smell, touch etc – are addressed as a total work of art (Gesamtkunstwerk). Those spaces alter consciousness and build bridges between inner worlds of dream and physical existence. He uses classic materials – stone, wood, plaster, wax, bronze – in order to strengthen innovation of form rather than material innovation. From there Krumrey moves to video: for conserving the spaces built, for transferring those into another medium (film) and for telling the story, contained within each sculpture, into a movie plot. 2020 leads to the loss of his studio in Athens. Back in Munich he paints over 20 paintings, develops old master techniques, researches oil-painting methods from Caravaggio to Rembrandt, combines them with 19th century alla prima painting. Introducing sculptural ideas in painting, Krumrey establishes spaces beyond physical reality within the space of a canvas, confronting abstraction and color with figuration and placing figures in landscapes of dream and vision. 2023 a new studio place is found: 6.2 hectares of land, 300 year old stone houses, within a national park at the Italian Riviera: ready for developing a new Gesamtkunstwerk of art, land and space. The 2024 participation at Biennale di Venezia is a present culmination of his artistic career.

WENDY COHEN
Wendy Cohen is a Sydney-based artist who has earned BFA and MFA degrees. She actively exhibits her work at Art Expo NYC, Art San Diego, Art Spectrum Miami, and The Other Art Fair in Sydney. Wendy’s art is a luminous dance of color, movement, and emotion. She creates paintings that integrate shapes, and lines, juxtaposed with collage elements into cohesive compositions that transform static spaces into vibrant synchronized visual tapestries of contrasting hues. Flowing ideas are manifested that draw the viewer’s attention to the brushstrokes, mark-making, and materiality on the surface of each painting.

YASUO ODA
Yasuo Oda, a Japanese digital artist based in the United States, is renowned for his pioneering approach to etherealism—an innovative artistic style emphasizing light, transparency, and otherworldly beauty. Drawing from his Japanese heritage and global influences, Oda explores themes of harmony, cosmic connection, and humanity’s shared history. Central to Oda’s process is his groundbreaking use of an RGB palette, where the three primary colors blend to create light rather than shadow. This unique method, achieved by layering multiple photographs, allows him to craft luminous, multidimensional compositions that push the boundaries of digital art. His works evoke a sense of transcendence, immersing viewers in dreamlike worlds that balance abstraction and realism. Signature pieces such as Imagine (528Hz), Jomon’s Breeze (Katakamuna), and Father & Son exemplify his ability to create compelling narratives through the interplay of light and color. Each piece invites the audience on a journey of discovery, offering an immediate visual impact paired with layered complexity for sustained engagement. Oda’s artistic vision transcends the limits of traditional media, blending tradition with cutting-edge innovation to redefine the possibilities of digital expression. His works, celebrated in exhibitions and collections worldwide, serve as both a bridge between past and future and an exploration of the human spirit’s resilience and creativity. Through his art, Oda continues to inspire, offering a vision of harmony and connection that resonates deeply in today’s fragmented world.
