The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Houston Branch held a Sandcastle Team Post Rain-Out Barbecue at Lawrence Park in early June. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Sandcastle Competition they were supposed to participate in was rescheduled to Aug. 20 due to rain. –ab
