The resort has remained the most influential factor for clients, with price and location swapping second and third positions since 2018/19. 'Your advice and suggestions' remains important whilst the size of the chalet has increased in influence from 6th place to 4th when compared to the 2018/19 season.

42% of companies reported that they were doing none of the listed sustainability changes 12% are now measuring their carbon footprint and 15% have set targets towards reducing it, 15% are switching bathroom amenities to more sustainable options. 8% are offsetting and 8% have switched to electric vehicles. Reducing plastics in the kitchen has also been adopted by some companies.

Covid continues to have the greatest impact on businesses, followed by Brexit and staffing challenges. The crisis in Ukraine is having the least impact.

There is very little change to the order of popularity of the resorts in France. The top four resorts remain the same as they were in the 2018/19 season with only Courchevel and Méribel swapping positions. In the 2018/19 season, Val Thorens was trailing behind Tignes and Megève and has now jumped ahead of them in popularity

There is very little change to the order of popularity of the resorts in Switzerland. The top three resorts remain in the same order as they were in the 2018/19 season. In the 2018/19 season Crans Montana was mentioned in the list for the first time; this resort has continued to increase in popularity and is now in fifth place

The percentage of clients booking chalets remains relatively constant at 60%. However, the percentage of clients booking self catered apartments has increased from 14% to 21% which has been reflected by a similar decrease in hotel bookings.
