Welcome to the Tucker Ranch Quarter Horses Production Sale!

My name is Jeff Tebow and I am honored to serve as the 76th president of the American Quarter Horse Association. My history with AQHA began at 13 years old and I have had the unique opportunity to experience many facets of our industry including showing and racing. Everything I have and have accomplished in life is because of my involvement in this industry and the passion God gave me for horses.

At AQHA, we cover a lot of ground and facilitate a lot of business for our members. Regardless of the discipline our members participate in there is one common denominator and that is our American Quarter Horse Breeders. AQHA breeders drive our industry forward with their dedication to producing the next generation of equine athletes. Whether your operation produces a handful of foals or dozens, the passion, work and care that goes into your herd is recognized, appreciated and respected by each of us at AQHA.

Coming into the Tucker Ranch Quarter Horse Production Sale, I am excited to see what you will do with the quality American Quarter Horses offered here. Be sure to get your transfers in to stamp your name on your new horse’s history and to also keep us posted at AQHA how you are doing on your journey together.

I hope to see you all at the sale, please don’t hesitate to stop and say hello!

Sincerely,

SALE STAFF ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Beautiful palomino stallion: well balanced, heavily muscled. Bred and raised by long-time friend and neighbor, Bruce Hammons, who always had a keen eye for a good horse. He is crossing well on our ranch mares. Toughy sires colts with good conformation, lots of color, and eye appeal.

Crossing Toughy on our ranch mares has resulted in a set of attractive replacement fillies with big hips, pretty heads and lots of shape.

Mutt is a maternal half-brother to Dexter 77 and the stallion we chose to replace his sire, Little Tough Pistol. He has the conformation it takes to raise ranch/performance horses with looks and size. He is well-balanced as evidenced by a short back, long underline, big hip, short cannon bones, and low set hocks. As well, Mutt has lots of bone and good black feet. A beautiful buckskin, Mutt has a super disposition and was easy to start with a kind, trainable, willing attitude.

SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms and Conditions

This is a live auction; horses will sell in a designated order, but not in catalog order. All buyers must be registered and receive a buyers number before bidding. Photo identification is required to receive a buyer’s number. Each horse will sell to the highest bidder. All horses become the property of each respective buyer upon auction end and full payment.

Bidders intending to write checks should bring reference from their banker as to their credit worthiness Checks will only be accepted at Seller’s discretion.

Bidding

The auctioneer will accept all bids, other than those considered to be irresponsible. The bidder offering the highest bid shall be the buyer. In case of dispute as to the successful bidder, the auctioneer shall put the horse up for bidding between the persons whom he identifies as being the last two bidders, or he may start the bidding process all over again, as though the horse was coming into the ring for the first time. If there be no advance, the horse shall go to the person from whom the auctioneer recognized as the last bidder The auctioneer’s decision is final. Bids will be recorded on the electronic recording system. Disputes as to the amount of the successful bid shall be settled by review of the recorded time/date, if necessary.

Buyers Payment & Release

The right to the property changes hands when full settlement is made. Payment in full of the sale price must be made to the cashier in the form of Federal Reserve Notes (cash), cashier’s check or personal check (U.S. currency only). Photo identification is required with all checks. No horse shall leave the grounds without a bill of sale.

Upon satisfactory payment by the buyer to the sale cashier, the cashier will issue a load out to the buyer which will release the horse from the auction grounds.

AQHA registration papers, if applicable, will be issued to the buyer at the time of payment. Transfer fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Risk

Title passes to the buyer and he/she becomes responsible for his/her purchase as soon as payment is made. At such time, buyer assumes all risk of loss and the responsibility, maintenance, care and expenses of the horse. If a horse must be left overnight, arrangements must be made with the office staff at McDaniel Livestock Exchange.

Warranties

All horses sell as sound unless otherwise stated. Buyers are strongly encouraged and have the responsibility of carefully examining horse(s) before bidding on them. However, any known blemish or defect will be noted in the sale catalog, catalog supplement or will be announced as horses enter the ring. What is a defect to one person may not be a defect to another. Therefore, NO animal can be rejected by the buyer when the sale ends. All sales are absolute and final. Every animal will be sold under this rule. The buyer assumes ownership and responsibility for the care and maintenance of said horse from the fall of the auctioneer’s gavel. Please exercise caution when loading horses(s).
