In 2025, the Chamber continues its recognition of business leaders with the Angelina County Business Hall of Fame. The Angelina County Business Hall of Fame recognizes the most esteemed leaders of business and free enterprise in Angelina County. The Hall of Fame selection committee seeks individuals representing all races and ethnicities who have demonstrated exceptional business leadership within Angelina County. To be considered as a Hall of Fame Laureate, an individual's record of business achievement must demonstrate excellence in the following general categories: business excellence; entrepreneurial spirit; courageous thinking and action; inspiring leadership; community impact; positive role model; enduring accomplishments; and local influence. Hall of Fame Laureates are individuals whose work has moved the Angelina County community in a better, stronger direction. This award is given posthumously. This is held during the December First Friday Luncheon

The annual Celebrate Business: Chamber Business of the Year Awards is awarded at the Chamber's Celebrate Business event in the fall. One of the most highly anticipated events of the year, this well attended event honors three businesses in different categories Small, Medium, and Large Business of the Year. The Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce began the Texas State Forest Festival in 1938 and was held as an annual county fair event until 1953 With the existing Chamber sponsoring the Youth Fair as part of the event, the Texas State Forest Festival was held on 30+ acres where Lufkin High School is currently located, and drew crowds reaching 8000! In 1984, the Chamber board revived and revised the Texas State Forest Festival as an annual event and merged its activities with the Southern Hushpuppy Olympics in May, 1985 The Texas State Forest Festival moved to its September date in 1988
Currently, the Texas State Forest Festival draws crowds approaching 15,000 and generates a net profit of $60,000 per year, a tremendous accomplishment for an event thirty-eight years old! Annually, the Texas State Forest Festival requires over 300 volunteers working about 2500 hours to stage the event and continues to be one of the premier annual events in East Texas! Old favorites to the festival that will return once again include the Wood Carvers, Petting Zoo, and the East Texas Cheerleading & Pom Championships Also, don't miss the Children's Festival, the Car Show, and the Big AXE BBQ Cookoff. There are commercial booth exhibits, great food, live music, a giant carnival, and lots of entertainment
Proceeds from the event benefit the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce, George H. Henderson, Jr. Exposition Center, Texas Forestry Museum, and Angelina Beautiful/Clean The event takes place at the George H. Henderson, Jr. Exposition Center in September.

The Annual Chamber Banquet, held in January at Lufkin's Pitser Garrison Convention Center, is one of Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber's signature events. Around 800 people gather to welcome the new board of directors, celebrate the Chamber's recent accomplishments, and look ahead at the issues and opportunities facing the Lufkin/Angelina County area. The event begins with an update from our Chamber CEO, Chamber Board outgoing President and Chamber Board incoming President, a plated dinner and announcement of the Angelina Award and Golden Anvil Award winners.

The Power Networking Breakfast (PNB) provides Investors an opportunity to network and promote their business in a relaxed social atmosphere. Gift certificates/cards must be good for use toward any purchase and not limited to serve as a discount for a particular product or service. They must not be coupons.
