BUSINESS HALL OF FAME In 2027, the Chamber continues its recognition of business leaders with the Angelina County Business Hall of Fame. The Angelina County Business Hall of Fame recognizes the most esteemed leaders of business and free enterprise in Angelina County. The Hall of Fame selection committee seeks individuals representing all races and ethnicities who have demonstrated exceptional business leadership within Angelina County. To be considered as a Hall of Fame Laureate, an individual's record of business achievement must demonstrate excellence in the following general categories: business excellence; entrepreneurial spirit; courageous thinking and action; inspiring leadership; community impact; positive role model; enduring accomplishments; and local influence. Hall of Fame Laureates are individuals whose work has moved the Angelina County community in a better, stronger direction. This award is given posthumously. TEXAS STATE FOREST FESTIVAL Presented by Brookshire Brothers, the Texas State Forest Festival is an East Texas tradition that attracts over 13,000 people to Lufkin/Angelina County with thrilling competitions, yummy festival food, fun carnival rides, exciting shows & so much more! ANNUAL CHAMBER BANQUET & MEETING The Annual Chamber Banquet, held in January at Lufkin's Pitser Garrison Convention Center, is one of Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber's signature events. Around 800 people gather to welcome the new board of directors, celebrate the Chamber's recent accomplishments, and look ahead at the issues and opportunities facing the Lufkin/Angelina County area.
