DEGREE INFORMATION
The Bachelor of Education After Degree (BEd (AD)) is a two-year elementary generalist program leading to a degree that fulfills the requirements for certification as a teacher in Alberta. Studies throughout the program are designed around the competencies that are defined by Alberta Education’s Teaching Quality Standard.
Field Experiences are key components of Concordia University of Edmonton (CUE)’s BEd (AD) program. Working with certificated teachers, student teachers experience the realities of day-to-day teaching and demonstrate their ability to transform theory into practice.
