This unique three-year program allows students to begin a Bachelor of Arts degree in French at CUE, and then complete the final year at Université de Bretagne Sud in Lorient, France. Students earn two degrees upon completion: Bachelor of Arts in French and Licence Lettres Modernes (the French equivalent).
This exceptional four-year program allows students to complete the first year of their Bachelor of Management degree at CUE before heading to China for two years to study at the International Business School of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). After returning to Edmonton to finish the program, students receive two degrees: a Bachelor of Management from CUE and a Bachelor of Economics or Bachelor of Management from BFSU.

Environmental health is the practice of protecting public health by applying relevant provincial legislation and providing support to mitigate the physical, chemical, and biological risks found in natural and human-made environments. Environmental Health Officers work in diverse settings across the public, private, and not-forprofit sectors, including in educational institutions and research organizations, educational institutions and as consultants. Students in the program who choose to take a 12-week field placement practicum can take the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors (CIPHI) certification exam to be able to practice as a Public Health Inspector in Canada.

We offer the Innovation Launchpad@CUE, an extra curricular work-integrated learning based program that trains participants from diverse backgrounds to evaluate their ideas for commercialization while focusing on development of soft skills such as risk-taking, problem solving, public speaking and effective communication.
DURING MY LA ST YEAR of my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2022, I took part in CUE’s Centre for Innovation and Applied Research Innovation Launchpad program for startup companies. I met with multiple mentors one on one and, at the end of the program, was able to present a 3-minute business pitch to a panel of judges as well as many peers.
