THE BRIEF Concorde BGW have been asked to work alongside NAAFI at Mount Pleasant to revive and re-develop the following key welfare facilities on the base:

Gull & Penguin

Dolphin Bar

Bars, shop, bowling lanes and cinema A full internal refurbishment

Bars, shop and diner A small refresh scheme

Air Terminal Shop A reconfiguration of overall space

The following presentation details the works that will be undertaken in each area along with mood boards and visuals illustrating the look and feel that will be delivered on completion of the project.

Gull & Penguin Bar Gull & Penguin Bar – full internal refurbishment including new bar servery, new food counter in location of old bar, removal and reforming of raised areas, new bar store, furniture, flooring, lighting, artwork and decorations.

Gull & Penguin Coffee Forum & shop

Sports Bar

Removal of existing coffee servery to create new snug area, reconfiguration of overall space focusing on increasing connectivity with other offers within the facility, new food to go counter within the existing shop, decorations, flooring, lighting and a refreshed furniture package.

A small refresh scheme only including decorations and re-assignment of existing furniture and artwork from refurbished bar area to supplement existing offer.

Toilets Full refurbishment to the ladies & Gent including alteration of the gents to include a new DWC and family toilet.

Cinema & Bowling Alteration to make a combined service /payment desk in place of two separate units, new flooring, supplementary seating in the cinema area and general decorations.
