The Lyreco group operate across 25 countries internationally. They have been supplying workplace goods and services for almost 100 years. We were given an exciting brief to design a new showroom at their head offices in Telford, allowing a selection of their vast PPE products to be displayed to their visiting customers.

This revolutionary new showroom features two informal break-out meeting areas, as well as a more formal conference room complete with media wall and large central table. Each meeting area has its own bespoke features, including drink stations, faux planting and a green wall to bring softness to this industrial scheme. These meeting areas also serve to showcase new furniture products available from Lyreco.

Feature lighting has been used to help zone these spaces as separate entities from the main showroom, and a bespoke neon light proudly displays Lyreco’s motto. Painted colour blocking details to the walls and display units pull through their recognisable brand colours.

The spacious, brightly lit showroom houses new industrial inspired display units with concrete effect and metal finishes to display Lyreco's products elevating the stores appeal. These custom-made displays have functionality built in too, with hidden storage, hanging rails, adjustable shelves and castors to give the client ultimate flexibility for easy product and layout changes over the years to come.

The George Inn

Fit for a King!

The George Inn, a historic Grade 1 listed 14th century Tudor Inn, is located in the centre of Norton St Philip, near Bath.

This extraordinary pub is one of Britain's oldest taverns, dating back to 1397. Over the years it has been used as the backdrop in many television programmes and films. It has recently undergone a full makeover and preservation project, including a full update of the 8 guest bedrooms and gardens.

This site has a multitude of original features and antiquities from its past. Our team has worked hard to ensure the scheme we delivered highlighted these, whilst also ensuring the pub hit the Butcombe brand mark with beautiful timeless décor.

This amazing building has remarkable features throughout, from exposed beams and original stonework to areas of panelling and timber strapping. The central area of the pub has an impressive vaulted ceiling which has been illuminated with large chandeliers.

The history soaked timber floors were lovingly refreshed and the new heritage lime-based paint colours restored the historic characteristics of this building. The largest transformation of the project was the relocation of the bar servery, designed to be in keeping with the original aesthetics. The traditional stained and polished panels compliment the antique brass metal work. Above the bar is home to an excellent example of a Springbok, which keeps a watchful eye on passing patrons.

The already impressive bedrooms were sensitively refreshed and refurbished. The solid oak hand carved four poster beds received new fringed draperies, quilted throws and feather-filled scatters. The timber flooring has been given a new warmth with new over-sized classical rugs and detailed soft furnishings adding a touch of opulence.

Within the Monmouth bedroom Suite there is said to be a bullet hole where the Duke of Monmouth was shot at through the window while he shaved, whilst recuperating overnight on his journey of rebellion to London.

Our in-house brand team worked along side our specialist signwriter to reinstate the signage back to it's former appearance. The original image of St. George on his horse was developed into the new branding and was hand painted with gold embellishments to the swing sign.

The garden and seating area, surrounded by evergreen planters, was created to enjoy the summer evenings overlooking award winning views and enjoying the fragrance of nearby wisteria flowers.

The Fulham Arms

A traditional Butcombe establishment in the heart of West London.

This Fulham public house has had a full rebrand putting a twist on Butcombe’s usual authentic British countryside style. The eclectic interior has a laid-back luxury London feel with rich leathers, stained panelling and feature lighting throughout.

The remodelling took place over two floors which included the development of a private dining area with it’s own flexible self-service bar for private events. This simplistic but sophisticated design included the use of Victorian tiles, subtle paint colours and deep accents through shades and finishes.

The courtyard and outdoor seating areas have also benefited from the refurbishment, both have been tastefully updated and offer more space to drink and dine.

The building has been transformed from an unloved corner pub into a fresh and inviting establishment full of character and charm. The use of chalky green paint colours, new signage and bistro furniture has significantly improved the pubs kerb appeal.

The perfect office for the perfect pizza.

In the heart of Bournemouth this modern CAT B office fit out is a perfect slice of commercial interior design.

Taking over the 3rd floor of the previous Debenhams building in the town centre, a new sleek home for Gozney pizza ovens has been designed and built by our team.

Working towards the brief that requested a collaborative and inspirational working environment we included crittall glazed meetings rooms, communal break out areas and team kitchens showcasing their own line of products. With marketing being key to the companies growth, the office includes its own kitchen media studio where videos and content can be created and shared.

This modern and minimalistic space has been brought together using bespoke carpentry created by our team at Sykes Joinery. Natural timber finishes contrast against white marble work tops and black metalwork, with the monochrome details continuing through into the signage. Feature tiles, textured wools and bright leathers add pops of colour throughout. The joinery works included coffee stations, custom built tables, bespoke kitchen cabinetry as well as a modern loose and fixed furniture package.

This contemporary office not only displays Gozney's infamous pizza ovens tastefully, but also gives the team an exciting and creative environment to work and socialise in. gozney.com

Life is what you bake of it.

Honey & Co. Daily is Honey & Co.'s most recent project. A Bakery Café located on Store Street in central London. This bright and airy café is serving up Middle Eastern-inspired sweet and savoury goods baked freshly on the premises every day.

On this build-only project, we worked with the client to transform the empty shell into a fully functioning bakery café serving takeaway sandwiches, salads, cakes, and coffees. The dining room beyond, serving a more substantial eat in menu.

Working alongside the designers at Studio Found, we brought this scandi-esque inspired bakery vision to life, with different hues of natural timbers, a terracotta palette and simple clean detailing.

A bespoke deli counter and display table have been manufactured, with the finishes pulling through the warmth and contrasting textures of paprika colour bricks and glossy red marble.

Hot Off The Press, Our New Nottingham Office

Over the past few months our teams have been busy creating something new and wonderful. In March we completed on the purchase of a new building in Nottingham to create a new workspace and hub for our facilities management team, as well as bringing Intend and A Hull under the same roof too. Since taking possession we have hit the ground running bringing the building up to brand standard.

The team have been fantastic, working flexibly around the refurbishment works being carried out and pulling together to get the job done whilst also continuing with the day-to-day workload seamlessly. We are now nearing completion and getting ready to plan our launch party to showcase what we have been up to. Alongside the investment in the office space, we are excited to have also invested in a brand new CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) system to help strengthen our ability to deliver for all reactive and planned maintenance works and give the best possible service for our clients.

Alongside our expansion into the new office space, we have also been busy expanding our client base and have successfully secured new contracts serving Ashfield District council, and Oxford Direct services, alongside our existing Leicester City Council contract and our hospitality reactive and planned maintenance contracts. In hand with this our team has expanded too, and we are pleased to have welcomed many new faces to the Concorde family over the past few months to strengthen our capabilities and bolster our teams to facilitate these new contracts whilst continuing to serve our existing clients with exceptional service.

These changes mark a thrilling start to the year at Concorde, and we could not be prouder of how our teams are working together to facilitate the continued growth and future success of the business.
