Hi everyone We wanted to share a quick catch up and reflection with our key friends and clients, following one of the hardest 4 months in the history of Concorde BGW. We jumped into 2020 with a feather in our cap and a spring in our step, giddy for what was due to be Concorde BGW’s biggest & best year, we were full of excitement and ready to go. Little did we know what was lurking around the corner… Through no fault of our own, and completely unprecedented & unpredicted, our Concorde world has been rocked by the Covid – 19 global pandemic. Pubs, bars and hotels all asked to close indefinitely by the government. Our lovely clients have been forced to enter into battle to keep their businesses buoyant and we have had to make some hard decisions to ensure Concorde stays the strong and vibrant business we all know and love. Covid-19 forced us all to press the pause button on life and take time to reflect, enjoy the sunshine and spend time keeping ourselves and our families safe. We are lucky that our team remain in good health and we are thankful for that, despite the huge challenges we have faced. Unfortunately, to keep the company in a position of strength we have had to lose members of our amazing team and look at how we operate as a business. We really didn’t want to let anyone go and had no idea this is where 2020 would lead Concorde BGW Group.

So what now? It’s time to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, reaffirm our mission and what needs to be done and set off back in the right direction. This is a quick reflection on where we are and what our plans are in the new world, we find ourselves in. This will re-introduce our company mission, vision and values, and explain a little bit about how we are going to ensure Concorde stays at the top of its game and continues to offer the innovative designs, quality workmanship and fabulous service we are so well known for. Introducing Our Values, Mission & Vision How did it start? Well, from our last Investors in people accreditation assessment and talking through our results with Ann, our lovely advisor, and also Lee, a management training expert, it became very clear that as the company continues to undergo change, growth & re-structure we needed to agree what our mission is, what our vision for the future is and what values are important to the company. These three things are the foundations for our future success. After a lot of soul searching by the board, and head scratching by Richard, The Mission, The Vision and The Values we need to work to, live by and ultimately use as our Concorde BGW compass were all agreed. These will be the key for our future & will improve and help achieve consistency across the company. We hope that you will agree with & support our company values and work with us to carry on our mission whilst working towards our vision and join us on the next step of our Concorde BGW journey.
