Arte Latina: con Miriam Castillo

MIRIAM CASTILLO ARTISTA AUTODIDACTA | GUATEMALA

Miriam Castillo, nació en Guatemala y desde muy temprana edad comenzó a interesarse por las artes, es una artista autodidacta. Mientras criaba a sus hijos, pintó mucho en diversos materiales, incluidos jabones. Le encanta escribir y lanzó un libro de poemas en Guatemala “Mi Sentir al Desnudo”.

Después de mudarse a Canadá, tuvo algunas exposiciones, mirando sus raíces mayas, una de las exposiciones fue sobre los dioses mayas y tuvo lugar en la Biblioteca Millenium en agosto de 2014, en Winnipeg: Donde presentó sus Mandalas, “Conectando con la Sagrada Sabiduría”...

LATIN ART MIRIAM CASTILLO

Miriam Castillo was born in Guatemala and she started to get interested in arts at a very early age; she is a self-taught artist. While raising her kids, she did a lot of painting on various materials, including soap. She loves to write and launched a book of poems in Guatemala “Mi Sentir al Desnudo”.

After moving to Canada, she has had some exhibitions. Exploring her Mayan roots, one of her exhibitions was on the Mayan gods which took place at the Millennium Library in August 2014, in Winnipeg: “Connecting with the Sacred Wisdom”, where she presented her Mandalas. ...
