Jose Castellon Alvarez es un especialista en operaciones comerciales, empresariales, Finanzas y Estrategia (EOFS), en Winnipeg, Canadá.

Conozca lo que motivo a este profesional a dejar su pequeña ciudad en México y aterrizar en Winnipeg con el objetivo de crear una oportunidad para él y su familia manteniendo su identidad cultural.

1. ¿Qué te motivo a escoger Winnipeg para construir un nuevo futuro para tu familia? Mi interés de moverme a Canadá siempre había estado en mi mente desde la universidad cuando tuve la oportunidad de participar en congresos estudiantiles y poder visitar el país. En 1999 me tocó formar parte de la Organización de Estudiantes de Norte América, parte del Consorcio para la Colaboración de la Educación donde me desempeñe por 4 años como Co-Presidente junto con una estudiante de la Universidad de Manitoba quien se convirtió en mi amiga y con el tiempo en mi vínculo con la provincia. Durante mi investigación de programas para aplicar a residencia, el Programa de Nominados Provinciales de Manitoba es el único que permite que un amigo pueda ser tu patrocinador. Feel proud of yourself, your background, and your professional and human capacity, a capacity that helped you to get ahead in all the ups and downs of your journey and that is the same capacity that will help you achieve all your goals. Once you are established remember that every year new immigrants arrive with the same fear and uncertainty, if you have the opportunity to give them a hand, do so the same way someone offered it to you.

This year 2020 gave us many challenges, challenges that have made us feel powerless for not being able to be next to our relatives and loved ones who have been affected

It is definitely a different reality of what we are used to, make this Christmas time one of reflection and gratitude for one more day of life and for all the intangible things that we have in our hearts.
