LIMPIEZA DE PRIMAVERA DE SU VEHÍCULO

Muchos de nosotros estamos en modo de limpieza de primavera, ya sea organizando nuestras casas, arreglando el jardín o limpiando el garaje, ¡es la manera perfecta de decir adiós al invierno y hola al verano! La limpieza de tu vehículo es un elemento más que debes agregar a tu lista de limpieza de primavera y si pasas una cantidad significativa de tiempo en tu automóvil todos los días, tener un carro limpio es muy gratificante.

Orden general: Es importante estar completamente preparado para el clima frío del invierno, por lo que te sugerimos empacar tu automóvil con mantas, ropa abrigada, bolsas de arena o sal de emergencia, palas, botas y otros artículos necesarios en temperaturas bajo cero. Una vez que llega la primavera, estos elementos son innecesarios y simplemente ocupan espacio en el maletero y la cabina de tu vehículo. Elimina todos estos artículos y guárdalos en un lugar conveniente para el próximo invierno. No olvides revisar debajo de los asientos por si hay guantes perdidos, tazas de café vacías o cualquier otra cosa que pueda estar escondida fuera de la vista.

Aspirar: Tu vehículo puede parecerse a una playa con toda la arena y la sal acumuladas durante el invierno. Aspira todo, desde las alfombrillas, los asientos, el tablero, el maletero, no dejes ninguna superficie intacta.

Sacude el tablero: El tablero y la consola son el lugar perfecto para que el polvo se acumule y se vuelve bastante notorio cuando el cálido sol de verano brilla directamente sobre él.

Limpia todas las superficies duras con un paño húmedo, incluidos los portavasos. Si tu tablero está muy sucio, usa un limpiador en aerosol con un paño suave.

Limpia las ventanas: Usa un limpiador de vidrios y toallas de papel para limpiar todo el polvo y las huellas dactilares de tus ventanas y espejos. No rocíes limpiacristales directamente sobre el espejo retrovisor, en su lugar rocía un paño o una toalla de papel y luego úselo para limpiar el vidrio.

Lava el exterior: Enjuaga tu vehículo para aflojar la suciedad, límpiela con jabón con una esponja suave y luego enjuaga bien una vez más. Seca tu vehículo con una toalla de microfibra suave o una gamuza y revisa bien para ver si hay astillas o rayones.

No olvides el tren de aterrizaje: La sal y la arena se pueden acumular debajo de tu vehículo. Lava el tren de aterrizaje y entre todos los rincones hasta que el agua salga limpia.

Limpia las llantas: Limpia a fondo las llantas y termínalas con cera o protector de llantas.

SPRING CLEANING YOUR VEHICLE

Many of us are in full on spring cleaning mode, whether it’s organizing our homes, sprucing up the yard or cleaning out the garage, it’s the perfect way to say goodbye to the winter and hello summer! Cleaning your vehicle is one more item to add to your spring cleaning list and if you spend a significant amount of time in your car each day then having a clean one is very rewarding. Here are a few tips on how to effectively clean your vehicle.

General Tidy: It’s important to be fully prepared for the cold winter weather which is why we suggest packing your car with blankets, warm clothes, emergency salt or sand bags, shovels, boots and other items needed in sub-zero temperatures. Once spring hits these items are unnecessary and simply take up space the trunk and cabin of your vehicle. Clear all these items out and store them in a convenient place for next winter. Don’t forget to check under the seats for lost mittens, empty coffee cups or anything else that might be hiding out of plain sight.

Vacuum: Your vehicle might be resembling a beach with all the sand and salt collected over the winter. Vacuum everything from the mats, seats, dash, trunk – leave no surface untouched.

Dust The Dash: Your dash and console is the perfect place for dust to collect and it becomes quite noticeable when the warm summer sun is shining right on it. Wipe all the hard surfaces down with a damp cloth, including cup holders. If your dash is really dirty use a spray cleaner with a soft cloth.

Clean The Windows: Use glass cleaner and paper towels to clean all dust and fingerprints off your windows and mirrors. Don’t spray glass cleaner directly on the rear-view mirror, instead spray a cloth or paper towel and then use it to clean the glass.

Wash The Exterior: Rinse your vehicle to loosen dirt, clean it with soap using a soft sponge and then rinse it thoroughly once again. Dry your vehicle with a soft microfiber towel or chamois and check every inch for chips or scratches.

Don’t Forget The Undercarriage: Salt and sand can build up under your vehicle. Wash the undercarriage and get into all the nooks and crannies until the water runs clear.

Clean The Wheels: Shiny wheels are the pièce de résistance – give your wheels a thorough scrub and finish them off with wax or rim protector.
