Protéjase y proteja a los demás - Vacúnese!

“El año 2020 fue para mí el inicio de un ciclo de retos, de luchas para superar los miedos, la depresión y un momento para revalorizar el pasado y fortalecer el futuro” Pensé que había enfrentado todo en mi vida, pero nada se compara al Covid-19.

El año 2021 fue el comienzo de un período de esperanza para alcanzar nuevas metas, y para muchos se reabrió un nuevo ciclo de vida y de negocios.

A pesar de todos mis cuidados y de haber recibido la primera dosis de la vacuna, el Covid-19 llegó a mi casa y ahora puedo re-afirmarles que ... “Todos nosotros, sin importar el grupo de edad o el factor de riesgo, somos vulnerables. Nadie es 100% inmune a las infecciones”.

Después de ser diagnosticada, mis miedos volvieron, me sentí parte de las estadísticas y recé para no ser parte de los casos graves. “Según los cálculos de la OMS, el 15% de los infectados con Covid-19 desarrollan síntomas graves, como dificultad para respirar, y necesitan ser hospitalizados. Alrededor del 80%, sin embargo, presentan manifestaciones asintomáticas o leves, como fiebre y tos, y pueden tratarse en casa, con reposo, hidratación y antipiréticos”.

Luego de unas semanas de aislamiento con mi esposo, siguiendo los protocolos como las recomendaciones médicas, evitando bajar mi energía; Agradecí a Dios por ser parte del 80%, estar viva y poder retomar mis actividades y continuar con la Revista. Dicho esto puedo presentar hoy mi trabajo, el cual a mantenido mi mente activa, mi corazón feliz y también há sido mi vínculo con la comunidad. Me alegro de haber completado mi segunda dosis de la vacuna pues me siento más protegida.

También quiero agradecer a los colaboradores el tiempo que dedican conmigo para informar creativamente a la comunidad, a los que se adhieren a este proyecto editorial en cada edición, así como a los que me han ayudado a mantenerlo hasta el día de hoy. A todos los que se dieron el tiempo de llamarme y enviarme energía positiva. Les digo:

Protect yourself and others - Get vaccinated!

“2020 was for me the beginning of a cycle of challenges, of struggles to overcome fears, depression and a time to re-evaluate the past and strengthen the future” I thought I had faced everything in my life, but nothing compares to Covid-19.

2021 was the beginning of a period of hope, of new goals, of a new cycle of life and businesses reopened.

Despite all my care and having received the first dose of the vaccine, the Covid-19 arrived at my home and now I can reaffirm to you that ... “All of us, regardless of age group or risk factor, are vulnerable. No one is 100% immune to infection.”

After being diagnosed, my fears returned, I felt part of the statistics and prayed that I would not be part of the severe cases. “According to WHO estimates, 15% of those infected with Covid-19 develop severe symptoms, such as difficulty breathing, and need to be hospitalized. About 80%, however, have asymptomatic or mild manifestations, such as fever and cough, and can be treated at home, with rest, hydration and antipyretics.”

After a few weeks of isolation with my husband, following the protocols and medical recommendations, avoiding lowering my energy; I thanked God for being part of the 80%, being alive and being able to resume my activities and continue with the Journal. Having said that, I can present my work today, which has kept my mind active, my heart happy and has also been my link with the community. I am glad to have received the second dose of the vaccine as I feel more protected.

I would also like to thank the contributors for the time they spend with me to creatively inform the community, those who adhere to this editorial project as well as those who have helped me maintain it to this day. To all those who took the time to call me and send me positive energy. I say:
