TARJETAS DE VACUNACIÓN

Do you know that individuals who are fully vaccinated, can now request a digital or physical immunization card?

Para ser elegible para solicitar tu tarjeta de vacunación, debes:

• tener una tarjeta de salud de Manitoba

• haber recibido ambas dosis de una vacuna

• esperar 14 días después de recibir tu última dosis de vacuna

Los residentes de Manitoba que reúnan los requisitos pueden solicitar una tarjeta de inmunización física o digital. La tarjeta incluirá tu nombre y apellido y un código QR. Cuando se escanea, el código QR mostrará que estás completamente vacunado.

En este momento, aquellos con su tarjeta de vacunación estarán exentos del autoaislamiento solo para viajes interprovinciales.

To be eligible to request your immunization card, you must:

• have a Manitoba health card

• have received both doses of a vaccine

• wait 14 days after getting your last dose of vaccine

Eligible Manitobans can apply for physical and / or digital immunization card. The card will include your first and last names and a QR code. When scanned, the QR code will show that you are fully vaccinated.

At this time, those with their immunization card will be exempt from self-isolation for inter-provincial travel only.

Canadá recomienda mezclar y combinar las vacunas AstraZeneca, Pfizer y Moderna COVID-19

Canadá está cambiando sus pautas para mezclar y combinar segundas dosis de vacunas COVID-19 y ahora aconseja a los canadienses que combinen las inyecciones de AstraZenecaOxford, Pfizer-BioNTech o Moderna de manera intercambiable en ciertas situaciones.

Canada recommends mixing and matching AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Moderna COVID19 vaccines

Canada is changing its guidelines on mixing and matching second doses of COVID-19 vaccines and is now advising Canadians to combine either the AstraZeneca-Oxford, PfizerBioNTech or Moderna shots interchangeably in certain situations.

The National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) updated its guidance to provinces and territories and recommended that a first shot of the AstraZeneca vaccine can be followed by either Moderna or Pfizer.

For Canadians who have had a first dose of Moderna or Pfizer, NACI recommends they can now take either of the two shots as a second dose — because they both use a similar mRNA technology — if the same first dose is unavailable or unknown.

The updated NACI guidance is based on emerging research from Spain and the United Kingdom that found mixing and matching AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines was both safe and effective at preventing COVID-19.
