Matthew 25:14

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.”

Matthew 25:21&23

“His lord said to him, ‘well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”

Matthew 25:30 “And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 28:18-20

“All authority has been given to Me (Jesus) in heaven and on Earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

“Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen

Christ foretold that He was like a man who was traveling to a far country, and what He foretold happened.

Gifts

1. The Lord called His own servants

2. The Lord gave each servant a different portion of His goods to look after.

3. The Lord gave to each servant according to his ability

Matthew 25: 16-18 Gifts, Faithfulness - Unfaithfulness

1. Two servants were responsible

2. They were faithful and diligent

3. They were successful

4. One servant, slothful

Matthew 25:19 Jesus Christ, Return

The day of reckoning came, but it was only “after a long time.”

Matthew 25:20-23

Reward

He gave them a twofold reward

1. They were given rulership

2. They were given entrance into the joy of the Lord.

Matthew 25:24-30 Minister - Servant

The punishment for work not done will be striped and separation
