SYDNEY’S NORTH WEST – where family living meets opportunity

Community Broadcast Network (CBN) has recognised the need to deliver better localised content and to bring the news that matters to residents and businesses of the North West growth areas of Sydney.

Sydney’s North West region is a powerhouse of development and opportunity. It’s estimated that over the next 10 years about 33,000 new homes will be provided, and once fully developed the area will be home to 250,000 people.

The North West Growth Areas are within the Greater Sydney Growth Area and have been defined by NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment encompassing areas of The Hills Shire Council, Blacktown City Council and Hawkesbury City Council. Key growth-centres include Riverstone, Box Hill, Rouse Hill, Vineyard, Kellyville, Schofields, Colebee and Marsden Park, Tallawong and Grantham Farm.

Sydney’s North West is a dynamic and fast growing precinct that blends suburban comfort with modern infrastructure and natural beauty. Known for its family-friendly leisure facilities, comfortable homes, businesses parks and access to bushland and parks, Sydney’s North West offers a high quality of family life.

The Sydney Metro Northwest enhances connectivity, linking residents to the CBD.

As part of the North West Growth Area, it is a focal point for housing, transport, and economic development in Greater Western Sydney.

Feel free to share your stories with us. We’d love to hear local people, businesses and organisations that have stories to share.
