A 10TH ANNIVERSARY is traditionally called the Tin Anniversary because tin and aluminum represent the qualities of endurance and flexibility. In modern times, a 10th anniversary is marked with diamonds due to their unbreakable strength and how they are created through pressure and tenacity. So as we at CM celebrate our 10th year bringing the community together in our pages, we are proud to say through endurance and with flexibility and the strength of the people who have come together to make our magazine the diamond that it is, we celebrate a decade of all that makes Monmouth County an amazing place to live and work. Through the years we have had the privilege of bringing you, our readers, a myriad of stories and a visual history of our collective lives. We have had the good fortune to conduct interviews with some of the most recognized names in entertainment and sports as well as exceptional neighbors, and to bring you behind the scenes stories from our sponsorships of various notable events. We’ve cried with you when our hearts were collectively broken, and we’ve celebrated with you when our kids, our teams, our non-profits, or our friends achieved greatness. Everything in our magazine either originates in or connects back to Monmouth County. Every one of us on staff lives and works in our community, and honestly, we love what we do and being part of all of your lives. Because we know local matters.
