Pea s ’ Grand Journey

Little Pea lives a modest, tiny life, but lacks nothing.

Here is the little house that he built himself.

And there is his tomato plant.

As for friends,

he has plenty!

Everybody loves Little Pea!

Hobbies? He has several of these too, like collecting bottle caps,

making toys,

and playing music!

His job? You might already know what it is.

Little Pea draws stamps – and he loves it!

But today, it’s not going well.

What’s wrong, Little Pea?

Oh! He has to create a new series of stamps, but he doesn’t know what to draw.

He has already drawn series of insects,

tomatoes,

cars,

and flowers.

Little Pea has run out of ideas.

What else could he possibly draw?

Hmm. Nothing comes to mind.

He’s thinking, but he’s out of ideas.

How will Little Pea find inspiration again?

Perhaps Little Pea needs a vacation.

Why not set off on a GRAND journey?

His car won’t take him far enough, so he starts building something – but what?

Ah, I see! (It’s a plane.)

Three, two, one…

Go!

All of a sudden, his airplane takes a dive!

Oh no! What a disaster!

Luckily, Little Pea remembered to pack a parachute.

No harm done – except to the plane!

Where is Little Pea? He seems lost.

He has never seen such strange-looking plants.

Even the insects are unfamiliar.

He must be very far from home.

All around him, little creatures are working hard!

Little Pea is always happy to lend a hand.

Together, they can do it!

But Little Pea is worried and sad.

How will he get back home?

We don’t know yet.

For now, he’s having a wonderful evening with his new friends!

The next morning, his friends have a surprise for him!

Little Pea can head back home now!

Three, two, one… goodbye, friends!

Little Pea flies over the countryside.

It’s even lovelier on the way back!

But what does he spy over there?

His house! And his tomato plant!

Hurray! His old friends are there to welcome him. Little Pea can’t wait to tell them about his adventures.

And remember… you don’t always need to go very far to have a GRAND journey and find GREAT inspiration!

What’s the best solution when you’re short on inspiration?
